About this item
Consumes one stone and spends 2 FP to reveal additional nearby messages left by players.
It relies on online messages. It does not create a guaranteed hint, expose every illusory wall or mark the correct route for you.
Other players can leave mistaken or deliberately misleading messages. A revealed instruction to jump is not evidence that a fall is safe.

Limgrave
Starting Site of Grace: Murkwater Cave
Before you go
- Crafting Kit
- Missionary's Cookbook [2]
- Ingredients per batch: 1 Ruin Fragment and 1 Human Bone Shard
- Spare Patches
- 800 runes
- Follow the river north from Agheel Lake and enter Murkwater Cave in the western wall of the ravine.
- Activate the cave grace, clear the bandits and open the chest in the back room to trigger Patches' fight. When he surrenders, stop attacking and speak to him.
- Leave and reload the cave, then speak to him again to open his shop.
- Buy the cookbook for 800 runes. If he has moved, check his shop at his next quest location.
- If Patches has died, offer his bell bearing to the Twin Maiden Husks at Roundtable Hold and buy the unpurchased book from his shop there.
- Buy the Crafting Kit from Kalé at Church of Elleh for 300 runes if Item Crafting is still unavailable.
- Collect 1 Ruin Fragment and 1 Human Bone Shard. Outside combat, open Item Crafting and choose Scriptstone. One craft makes one.
Notes
- Consumes one stone and spends 2 FP to reveal additional nearby messages left by players.
- It relies on online messages. It does not create a guaranteed hint, expose every illusory wall or mark the correct route for you.
- Other players can leave mistaken or deliberately misleading messages. A revealed instruction to jump is not evidence that a fall is safe.
- Each craft makes one from a Ruin Fragment and a Human Bone Shard, after learning Missionary's Cookbook [2].
- It serves a different purpose from a Rainbow Stone or Glowstone. Those leave a visible light; this item reveals messages.
