Where to find

Merchant at Forest-Spanning Greatbridge

Altus Plateau

Starting Site of Grace: Forest-Spanning Greatbridge

Before you go

Reach Altus Plateau and have 3,500 runes.

Reach Altus Plateau through the Grand Lift of Dectus using both medallion halves, or climb Ruin-Strewn Precipice and defeat Magma Wyrm Makar.
Follow the plateau's main road north from Altus Highway Junction toward the large broken Forest-Spanning Greatbridge. Activate the grace at its southern end.
Find the merchant beside the grace and sending gate, then buy Tree Surcoat for 3,500 runes. Stay on this end of the bridge; the gate leads to the separate northern section where Goldmask stands.
If the merchant has died, give Nomadic Merchant's Bell Bearing [7] to the Twin Maiden Husks to buy his remaining stock. The shop contains one copy, including any already bought before the transfer.
