In-game description

Temporarily reduces equipment load.
Where to find
Basin on the cliffs east of Hermit Merchant's Shack
Capital Outskirts
Starting Site of Grace: Hermit Merchant's Shack
- Begin at Hermit Merchant's Shack north of Leyndell's outer-wall battlefield. Travel east along the high ground toward the cliffs.
- Look for the collection bowl guarded by Skeletal Snails, west of the Minor Erdtree. Stay on the upper ground rather than going down to the tree's basin.
- Collect the tear from the bowl. A Deathbird can appear nearby at night, so visit during the day if you want to avoid that extra fight.
Notes
- Temporarily raises maximum equip load for three minutes, making a heavy setup easier to carry while the effect lasts.
- Check your normal equip load before relying on it. When the buff ends, the same equipment can leave you heavy rolling or overloaded.
- It changes carrying capacity, not the actual weight shown on your weapon and armor pieces.
- Rest at a Site of Grace and choose Mix Wondrous Physick to use this tear. Drinking the flask uses its charge; resting refills it without consuming the tear.
- It does not change the normal thresholds: a light load stays below 30% of maximum, and a medium load stays below 70%. The temporary increase to maximum capacity makes the same equipment occupy a smaller share of that limit.
- It does not improve stamina, poise, defenses or dodge invulnerability directly. The benefit comes from carrying the same equipment at a lower share of your temporary capacity.
- Equip-load talismans and Endurance affect your ordinary capacity separately. Leave a plan to remove heavy equipment or end the fight before the three-minute effect expires.
- A lighter displayed load during the buff is temporary. Resting, dying or the effect ending does not permanently reduce the weight of an armor set.
