In-game description

Superior Erdtree Worship incantation.

Produces a golden shockwave that knocks back nearby foes.

Charging increases the size of the shockwave.

This incantation was discovered when the Elden Ring was shattered, and it was feared as a sign of the Erdtree's wrath.

Starting Site of Grace: Bower of Bounty

  1. From Bower of Bounty, ride northeast through the wooded valley toward the Minor Erdtree. This is the forest below the broken greatbridge, rather than the road on top.
  2. The large Wormface guards the tree. Its Death Blight clouds are dangerous even if you can survive the ordinary hits; move out before the buildup meter fills.
  3. Move to the southeastern cluster of Woodfolk Ruins, away from the northern cookbook and shield buildings.
  4. Clear or draw away the Wormfaces around the open staircase in the middle of the ruins. Go down into the cellar and open the chest for Wrath of Gold.
  5. There is no cellar boss or Stonesword Key seal. The large Wormface at the tree is not required for this chest.

Notes

  • Needs 32 Faith and one memory slot and costs 40 FP. Cast it with a sacred seal to produce Holy damage around your body.
  • The uncharged shockwave expands to roughly 4 metres. Charging increases its damage by 20% and expands its maximum reach to roughly 5 metres.
  • Can launch human-sized enemies away even without charging. Larger enemies and bosses may resist that knockback, so do not rely on it to interrupt every attack.
  • It is a close-range burst rather than a projectile aimed at a distant target. The cast still needs an opening, especially if several enemies are already swinging at you.
  • Godfrey Icon increases a fully charged cast's damage. Flock's Canvas Talisman and Holy-damage bonuses can also apply, while Shard of Alexander is for weapon skills.
  • Its damage uses the casting seal's Incantation Scaling. Meeting the 32 Faith requirement does not mean every seal gains damage from the same attributes.
  • Unlike Rejection, this burst deals damage. Wrath from Afar is a separate spell that places its explosion at range.
