• Ingredients per batch: 2 Altus Bloom, 1 Budding Cave Moss, 1 Land Octopus Ovary and 1 Arteria Leaf

1. From Erdtree-Gazing Hill in Altus Plateau, ride east down into the valley, then follow it north between the cliffs. Stay on the lower ground rather than climbing toward Mt. Gelmir's campsites.
2. Continue through the narrow gap until the Shaded Castle appears in its poison swamp. Use the rocks beside the broken southern wall to climb inside, then follow the wall right to Shaded Castle Ramparts grace.
3. Drop into the lower courtyard and head toward the center, keeping out of the poison where you can. At the next open area, climb the ladder on the raised platform to the right, beside a Wraith Caller.
4. At the top, turn left toward the opening into the next courtyard. Cross using the roofs and raised stonework where possible, then enter the building opposite for Shaded Castle Inner Gate grace.
5. Continue forward and climb the ladder on the left. Deal with the dogs at the top and enter the room on the right, watching for the Page with a crossbow among the other enemies.
6. Inside the room with the Page, find the ladder in the southeastern corner. Climb to the small roof and loot the seated corpse for the cookbook.
7. Return down the ladder to continue toward Elemer, or leave after the pickup. The castle boss is not required for this book.
8. Buy the Crafting Kit from Kalé at Church of Elleh for 300 runes if Item Crafting is still unavailable.
9. Collect 2 Altus Bloom, 1 Budding Cave Moss, 1 Land Octopus Ovary and 1 Arteria Leaf and bring an empty Perfume Bottle. Outside combat, open Item Crafting and select Bloodboil Aromatic. One batch makes 1.

Notes

• For 60 seconds, increases physical damage by 30% against enemies or 20% against players. It also raises maximum stamina by 20% and adds 5 stamina recovery per second.
• You take 25% more damage of every damage type while it is active. The extra stamina is not damage reduction, so this can make a dangerous enemy more likely to kill you in one hit.
• Only the physical part of your outgoing attacks receives the damage increase. A split Fire or Holy weapon does not gain 30% on its whole combined attack power.
• This is a body buff. Boiled Crab, Exalted Flesh, Flame, Grant Me Strength and other body buffs replace it rather than stacking with it. A separate aura such as Golden Vow can coexist.
• Perfumer's Talisman does not strengthen the buff. Improving Dexterity or Arcane does not increase its fixed percentages.
• Costs 21 FP and one prepared mixture. Its recipe uses an Arteria Leaf and a Land Octopus Ovary, so prepare the perfume before the fight rather than expecting free repeated uses.
• Needs an empty Perfume Bottle. Using the mixture frees that bottle for another recipe, while the ingredients are spent. All prepared aromatic types share your collected bottle supply; the DLC perfume weapons are separate equipment.
