About this item

For 40 seconds, increases physical damage for you and nearby allies by 10% against enemies or 7.5% against players. It does not give that bonus to every elemental part of a split-damage attack.

Also supplies a bubble that reduces the next damaging hit by 90%, or expires after 40 seconds if unused. A small hit can spend it before a much larger attack arrives.

The bubble and attack increase are separate effects. Losing the bubble does not automatically remove the remaining attack buff, and the bubble is not continuous 90% protection for the whole duration.

In-game description

Art of the perfumers who fought in the Shattering.

Craftable with a perfume bottle.

Uses FP to raise the attack power of the user and nearby allies while also reducing the damage from one incoming attack by half.

This aromatic has an extremely potent morale-raising effect that makes those accustomed to it fearless in the face of death. It was this influence that made the perfumers exceptional commanders.

Where to find

Crafting after obtaining Perfumer's Cookbook [1]

Altus Plateau

Starting Site of Grace: Abandoned Coffin

Before you go

  • Crafting Kit
  • Perfumer's Cookbook [1]
  • Empty Perfume Bottle
  • Ingredients per batch: 1 Altus Bloom, 1 Budding Cave Moss, 1 Silver Tear Husk and 1 Arteria Leaf
  1. From Abandoned Coffin, head northwest to Perfumer's Ruins.
  2. Approach the ruined courtyard carefully. Perfumers, plants and an Omenkiller guard the area.
  3. Find the table in the middle of the ruins and open the nearby chest for the cookbook.
  4. Check the surrounding ground for Perfume Bottles as well, since the recipes need those containers.
  5. Buy the Crafting Kit from Kalé at Church of Elleh for 300 runes if Item Crafting is still unavailable.
  6. Collect 1 Altus Bloom, 1 Budding Cave Moss, 1 Silver Tear Husk and 1 Arteria Leaf and bring an empty Perfume Bottle. Outside combat, open Item Crafting and select Uplifting Aromatic. One batch makes 1.

Notes

  • For 40 seconds, increases physical damage for you and nearby allies by 10% against enemies or 7.5% against players. It does not give that bonus to every elemental part of a split-damage attack.
  • Also supplies a bubble that reduces the next damaging hit by 90%, or expires after 40 seconds if unused. A small hit can spend it before a much larger attack arrives.
  • The bubble and attack increase are separate effects. Losing the bubble does not automatically remove the remaining attack buff, and the bubble is not continuous 90% protection for the whole duration.
  • The attack increase is an aura buff. Golden Vow replaces it rather than providing a second stacked aura increase. Body buffs occupy a different category.
  • Move close to the ally or Spirit Ash before using it. Its application is local around you; it does not cover a partner at the opposite end of the arena.
  • Perfumer's Talisman does not strengthen the attack increase or bubble. Each use costs 22 FP and one mixture; the recipe also spends an Arteria Leaf.
  • Needs an empty Perfume Bottle. Using the mixture frees that bottle for another recipe, while the ingredients are spent. All prepared aromatic types share your collected bottle supply; the DLC perfume weapons are separate equipment.
