In-game description

Long golden horn of the Oracle Envoys. Profoundly weighty, its blows are sure to be felt.

Originally an instrument, but one that cannot be sounded by a mere human. Or perhaps it is too early to sound the call.

Envoy's Long Horn icon
Bubble ShowerFP 16 · Unique skill

Blow on the horn to release a spume of magic bubbles. The bubbles float gently before raining down on the target.

LocationLeyndell, Royal Capital

Altus Plateau

Starting Site of Grace: East Capital Rampart

Before you go

  • Enter Leyndell before it becomes the Ashen Capital.
  1. Enter Leyndell past the Draconic Tree Sentinel on its northeastern approach. Follow the entrance passage and lift to East Capital Rampart, then activate the grace before farming the rampart path.
  2. From East Capital Rampart, follow the western walkway past the small Oracle Envoys. Find the larger Envoy carrying a long horn on this same route.
  3. Defeat the long-horn carrier and check its drop. Rest at East Capital Rampart and repeat until you get the weapon.

LocationHaligtree canopy

Miquella's Haligtree

Starting Site of Grace: Haligtree Canopy

Before you go

  • Reach Miquella's Haligtree.
  1. Obtain the right Haligtree Secret Medallion half from Albus in the Village of the Albinaurics. He is disguised as a pot on the uphill path, before the bridge leading toward the Omenkiller.
  2. Obtain the left half from the tower beyond Commander Niall at Castle Sol in the northern Mountaintops. After winning, continue behind his arena, ride the lift and loot the rooftop corpse.
  3. Return to Grand Lift of Rold with both halves and switch to the secret-medallion prompt. The ordinary Rold Medallion sends you to a different destination.
  4. Take the main stairs through Hidden Path to the Haligtree and leave into Consecrated Snowfield. Continue north through the blizzard, following the road toward Inner Consecrated Snowfield, then on to Ordina, Liturgical Town.
  5. Activate Ordina's grace and find the evergaol seal toward the back of town. Enter it to light the four statues. Invisible assassins patrol the streets and Albinauric archers fire from the rooftops.
  6. From the evergaol seal, go left down the stairs and left again to light the street-level statue. Head toward the second stairs leading toward the town grace, but take the path around the building on their right instead of going down.
  7. Climb the ladder around that building and the next ladder to its rooftop statue. After lighting it, drop from the eastern side onto the red roof, cross the connected rooftops and climb the next pair of ladders to another statue.
  8. Go down those ladders and return to the evergaol courtyard. Pass the right side of the building, drop to the snowy ground and head west around the next building to the last pair of ladders. Light the fourth statue to lift the seal.
  9. Back in ordinary Ordina, climb the long northern staircase and use the sending gate at its top. Activate Haligtree Canopy when you arrive.
  10. Search the canopy branches for the medium-sized Oracle Envoys carrying long horns. The small and giant versions drop different horns.
  11. Defeat the long-horn carriers, check their drops, and rest at a nearby grace to repeat. This remains an option after the Leyndell enemies disappear.

Notes

  • Requires 23 Strength, 11 Dexterity and 18 Faith, and weighs 9.5. Ordinary attacks deal Physical and Holy damage. Strength is the stronger Physical attribute, with a smaller Dexterity contribution. Faith improves the Holy portion.
  • Bubble Shower costs 16 FP per use. It releases a shower of 60 small golden bubbles. A large nearby enemy can catch many of them, while a narrow or distant target may take only a few.
  • The golden bubbles deal pure Holy damage that improves through Faith and weapon upgrades. Strength and Dexterity improve ordinary horn strikes without strengthening these independent Holy projectiles.
  • Each small bubble deals 1.9 stance damage. Do not multiply this by the full shower and assume every enemy receives all 60 contacts.
  • Older damage and stance figures from before the bubble adjustment overstate the current shower. Its strength is catching a large target with many small contacts, rather than one enormous guaranteed hit.
  • Envoy Crown improves the bubble skill by 15%. Shard of Alexander adds its separate 15% skill bonus; together they give 32.25% more bubble damage before other bonuses and defenses.
  • Holy damage bonuses also help. Godfrey Icon does not because the skill cannot be charged, and incantation bonuses or a seal's scaling do not improve a horn weapon skill.
  • Oracle Bubbles and the sorcery called Great Oracular Bubble are separate Magic spells. They do not share this weapon skill's Faith scaling or Envoy Crown bonus.
  • Ordinary hammer blows deal Strike Physical damage alongside Holy damage. The crown's special bubble bonus does not increase every ordinary swing.
  • Uses Somber Smithing Stones to +10. Its skill and affinity are fixed, and grease or weapon enchantments cannot be applied.
  • The Royal Capital farm disappears after Maliketh. Matching horn carriers in the Haligtree canopy remain available, so missing the capital route does not make the weapon unobtainable for that journey.
