About this armor

Weighs 3.2 and provides 5 poise. This is the tailored version of Fia's Robe, with less protection and resistance as well as lower weight.

There is no hidden Death Blight attack bonus, spell boost or additional full-outfit effect. The clothing also does not apply the HP penalty associated with Fia's embrace.

That HP penalty comes from carrying ordinary Baldachin's Blessing. Use the blessing and let its temporary effect expire to clear it; taking off this clothing will not clear the penalty.

In-game description

Robe of black cloth that covers the entire body.

Worn by Fia, the Deathbed Companion, on her journey after being exiled from her home.

The fabric itself is soft as silk and thin enough that those embraced can feel every pulse; every bit of her warmth.

Where to find

Prince of Death's Throne, then tailoring at a grace

Deeproot Depths

Starting Site of Grace: Prince of Death's Throne

Before you go

  • Complete Fia's dream and obtain her clothing. For the selected twin scene, have the complete regular Twinned outfit.
  1. Defeat Starscourge Radahn at the Radahn Festival in Redmane Castle. His defeat opens the starfall crater in Limgrave; it is not the sealed Siofra River overlook reached from the Four Belfries.
  2. Return to the Mistwood near Fort Haight and find the new crater marked by floating rocks. Use the descending ledges and openings to enter Nokron, Eternal City.
  3. Follow the rooftops down into Nokron's streets, then continue to the Mimic Tear boss. Defeat it and cross the long bridge beyond the arena.
  4. Leave the bridge on the left where it opens into woodland. Follow the western cliff to Ancestral Woods grace, overlooking the lower rooftops.
  5. From the upper woodland, go toward the trees beside Hallowhorn Grounds and the Spirit Jellyfish along the northern cliff. Use the lower ledge below the edge, then follow the descending path into the cave to Aqueduct-Facing Cliffs grace. You do not need to light the ancestor pillars.
  6. Leave the cave toward the aqueduct. Drop onto the stone support leading to the building, then onto the lower ledge. A Crucible Knight patrols nearby, so wait for an opening before moving across.
  7. Continue toward the building with water pouring out. Another Crucible Knight stands by the waterfall. Go north through the water channel, turn into the area on the right and climb the stairs through the arch. D's twin sits near this approach to the boss.
  8. Defeat both Valiant Gargoyles. Afterward, activate Great Waterfall Basin grace and rest in the coffin beside the waterfall to reach Deeproot Depths.
  9. From Great Waterfall Crest, head west onto the huge roots. Use the root descending on the left to cross the gap, then continue west past the giant ants to Deeproot Depths grace beside the Finger Reader. The Erdtree Avatar and the ant cave are optional detours.
  10. Head north into the shallow water and ruins. The map is in the gazebo. Continue west beneath the large root and past the ghostly soldiers to The Nameless Eternal City grace beside an arch.
  11. Climb onto the partly sunken buildings east of that grace, then onto the roots above them. Take the right fork, continue past the tower toward the northeastern cliff and drop right to Across the Roots grace.
  12. Go through the root opening into the large clearing beneath Godwyn. Defeat all three waves of Fia's Champions. The final wave has three opponents together; you can use a Spirit Ash here. Fia's Mist is the direct reward.
  13. Speak to Fia after the champions. Choose No, I want to be held, then use her private conversation options. Do not attack her.
  14. Bring Cursemark of Death from the summit of Divine Tower of Liurnia. To reach it, give Ranni Fingerslayer Blade, use her Carian Inverted Statue on the entrance pedestal in Carian Study Hall, descend the inverted hall by its ledges, chandeliers and beams, then ride the central lift and cross the tower bridge.
  15. While Fia holds you, finish her private dialogue and give her the cursemark. Keep talking until her conversation repeats. Rest at the nearby grace and return for her later dialogue; repeat until she is asleep.
  16. Touch the sleeping Fia to enter the Deathbed Dream. Defeat Lichdragon Fortissax, then collect Mending Rune of the Death-Prince from her body when you return.
  17. For the armor route here, collect the ending rune first. If you have not already handed over the Twinned outfit, return to D's twin outside the Gargoyles arena. Give him the regular helm, chest, gauntlets and greaves together; restore an altered chest before trying.
  18. Return to Prince of Death's Throne and finish the twin's dialogue over Fia. Loot her body for Fia's Hood and Fia's Robe. Reload afterward to reclaim the Twinned outfit and Inseparable Sword when the twin has gone.
  19. Defeat the Demi-Human Chiefs in Coastal Cave on western Limgrave's beach for the ordinary Tailoring Tools. At a grace, choose Alter garments and change Fia's Robe for 500 runes, or ask Boc through his available tailoring service.

Notes

  • Weighs 3.2 and provides 5 poise. This is the tailored version of Fia's Robe, with less protection and resistance as well as lower weight.
  • There is no hidden Death Blight attack bonus, spell boost or additional full-outfit effect. The clothing also does not apply the HP penalty associated with Fia's embrace.
  • That HP penalty comes from carrying ordinary Baldachin's Blessing. Use the blessing and let its temporary effect expire to clear it; taking off this clothing will not clear the penalty.
  • The hood and regular robe are obtained together from Fia's body. The route here finishes her dream and collects the ending rune before the optional scene with D's twin, preserving those rewards first.
  • Only the robe has an altered version. Change it at a grace for 500 runes after obtaining ordinary Tailoring Tools, or use Boc's available free tailoring service. The change is reversible.
