Where to find
Lower passage in Moorth Ruins
Scadu Altus
Starting Site of Grace: Moorth Ruins
Before you go
- Enter the Realm of Shadow.
- From Moorth Ruins grace, go southeast through the large ruined arch and work around the eastern side of the buildings to the opening descending into the ruins.
- Use the ledges to drop into the lower ruined building. Watch for the two shadow dogs near the Whiteflesh Mushroom pickup.
- From the first landing, continue southwest and drop into the tunnel. Turn back east and loot the corpse for a Golden Horn Tender.
- The path west continues down toward the Golden Arcs chest and the tunnel to Bonny Village. Do not jump straight into the deepest part of the central hole.
Notes
- Increases runes earned from defeated enemies by 40% for three minutes. Have the effect active when the reward arrives, rather than waiting until the rune counter has already increased.
- Does not increase the fixed value of consumed Golden Runes or Remembrances, runes received by selling equipment, or the number of runes recovered from your bloodstain.
- Combines with Gold Scarab's 20% bonus for 68% more runes overall. The two bonuses multiply rather than adding their percentages.
- Golden Horn Tender and Gold-Pickled Fowl Foot replace each other. Using both does not combine their rune bonuses, and another use does not bank several three-minute periods.
- Improves the rune reward, not random item drops. Silver consumables and Silver Scarab serve the separate Item Discovery purpose.
- There is no crafting recipe. You can collect finished tenders as treasure or obtain more from eligible enemy drops, so they are not limited to one use per journey.
- Sells for 1,000 runes each. Selling is a fixed return; using the bonus can be worth more if you spend its duration on a productive farming route.
- The effect survives resting at a grace, so a short farming loop can cover several attempts. Death or fast travel removes it; apply a replacement after arriving at your destination.
- Each use consumes one and costs no FP. Carry up to ten, with another 999 in storage.
- Compared with Gold-Pickled Fowl Foot, its 40% bonus gives 1,400 runes from a normal 1,000-rune reward instead of 1,300, before any other bonuses.
