In-game description
One of the glintstone sorceries that manipulates gravitational forces.
Fires a projectile of condensed gravitational force. Those struck by it will be pulled toward the caster.
Charging enhances potency.
A gravitational technique studied by the young Radahn. His master was an Alabaster Lord with skin of stone.
Where to find
Raya Lucaria graveyard
Liurnia of the Lakes
Starting Site of Grace: Church of the Cuckoo
Before you go
- Enter the Academy of Raya Lucaria.
- At lake level west of Raya Lucaria, reach the small island behind Glintstone Dragon Smarag. Collect the Academy Glintstone Key from the corpse behind him; killing the dragon is optional.
- Use the key at South Raya Lucaria Gate, pass through the seal and ride the academy entrance lift. Follow the entrance stairway into Church of the Cuckoo and activate its grace.
- Leave through the rear of the church into the graveyard. Follow the main descending path past the grabbing corpses and cross the wooden suspension bridge.
- Continue toward the enormous rotating waterwheel. Before boarding it, enter the open clearing beside its lower approach and wait for the Alabaster Lord to appear.
- Defeat that Alabaster Lord to receive Gravity Well automatically. Red Wolf of Radagon and Rennala are farther inside the academy and are unnecessary for this reward.
Notes
- Requires 17 Intelligence, one memory slot and a glintstone staff. Each cast costs 12 FP, including a fully charged cast.
- Fires one Magic projectile that pulls a vulnerable enemy toward you. It does not deal Physical damage just because it belongs to the gravity school.
- The pull is useful against lighter enemies and flying targets. Large bosses and enemies resisting the stagger will not reliably slide into melee range, so do not rely on it to interrupt every attack.
- Charging strengthens the hit and its stance damage. Godfrey Icon improves the fully charged version; an ordinary quick cast does not receive that charged-spell bonus.
- Meteorite Staff boosts this gravity sorcery by 30% while held. You can cast with a stronger upgraded staff in the other hand and keep the school bonus. Two active Meteorite Staves multiply to a 69% bonus.
- Damage follows the casting staff's Sorcery Scaling. Strength is not an extra gravity-damage attribute; Intelligence supplies the damage scaling on ordinary Intelligence staves.
- Graven talismans and Magic damage bonuses improve the spell. Shard of Alexander and Spellblade armor improve suitable weapon skills, not this sorcery.
- Use the pull to bring a ranged enemy off a firing position or into another attack. Near a cliff, consider where the enemy will land if you still want to collect its dropped item.
