Starting Site of Grace: Gatefront

1. From Church of Elleh, follow the woodland road north to Gatefront Ruins and activate Gatefront grace beside the large gate.
2. Go through Stormgate into the narrow uphill pass. Watch for the troll dropping onto the road and the crossbow fire behind the wooden barricades.
3. Target the lightly armored Foot Soldiers in chain-draped tabards behind the barricades, rather than the ordinary soldiers in orange-and-green surcoats.
4. Defeat the Foot Soldiers and collect their glowing drops. Rest at Gatefront to reset the enemies; the cap, tabard, gauntlets and greaves are separate random drops.
5. This Limgrave method supplies Foot Soldier Greaves for the leg slot. Use the next method for the Highwayman hood, chest and gloves.

Highwaymen in the first Murkwater Cave chamber

Starting Site of Grace: Murkwater Cave

1. Start at the northern shore of Agheel Lake and follow the stream north beneath the road bridge. Stay in the riverbed rather than searching the upper cliffs.
2. Bloody Finger Nerijus invades on the approach to Murkwater Cave. Defeat him to clear the entrance; Yura can arrive to help if you survive the opening attacks.
3. Enter the cave in the western wall of the ravine and activate Murkwater Cave grace. Follow the dark passage into the first bandit room.
4. Look for the small bell traps stretched through the grass on the floor. Avoiding them lets you draw out fewer enemies at a time instead of alerting the whole room.
5. Defeat the Highwaymen, collect their glowing drops and rest at the cave grace to repeat. Patches is in a separate chamber and does not need to be fought for this farm.

Notes

• The full outfit weighs 18.7 and gives 33 poise. Count weapons, shields and talismans separately.
• The hood, chest and gauntlets drop from Highwaymen. Foot Soldier Greaves fill the leg slot in this outfit and come from the separate Limgrave Foot Soldier farm.
• There is no separate item named Highwayman Greaves. Wearing the hood and chest does not add stealth, dagger damage or immunity to the cave's alarm traps.
• No Highwayman piece can be tailored. Farming the cave bandits does not require killing Patches or ending his quest.
• Each eligible random armor piece has a base 3% drop chance at 100 Discovery. The outfit is collected across separate rolls rather than awarded all at once.
• There is no matching-set effect. The hands and feet can be mixed with other equipment without losing a hidden bonus.
