This sorcery can be used while in motion. Charging increases the delay.

Before you go

Go to the Church of Vows on the raised ground in eastern Liurnia, northeast of Raya Lucaria Academy. From the Artist's Shack in Liurnia, follow the road north and take the uphill branch toward the ruined church.
Speak to Miriel, the enormous turtle wearing a white mitre inside the church.
Open Miriel's shop and buy Magic Glintblade for 3,000 runes. No scroll or prayerbook is required.

Choose Prisoner when creating your character. This spell is included in that class's starting equipment. Other classes can obtain it through the purchase route.

Creates an overhead sigil that fires a homing Magic blade after a delay. You can move, attack or create another sigil while waiting for the first blade to launch.
Charging increases both the launch delay and the blade's power. It still costs 12 FP; the charged cast uses more stamina.
A charged cast followed by an uncharged one can bring their releases closer together. This is useful for pressure, rather than a promise that both will hit a moving target.
Some enemies dodge the casting animation before the delayed blade actually fires. Repositioning while the sigil waits can also draw a shield away from the blade's approach.
Damage uses your casting tool's Sorcery Scaling. The sword shape does not make it a physical melee attack.
Carian Glintblade Staff boosts this spell. Godfrey Icon improves its fully charged cast; Carian Glintstone Staff is the separate bonus for sword spells such as Carian Slicer.
Prisoner starts with it. Miriel sells it for 3,000 runes without needing a scroll.
If the teacher dies after this spell is available in their shop, their bell bearing preserves the unpurchased stock at the Twin Maiden Husks. You do not need to kill a teacher to buy the spell.
