About this set

Bridge before Maliketh

Crumbling Farum Azula

Starting Site of Grace: Beside the Great Bridge

1. Reach Crumbling Farum Azula through the Forge of the Giants after Fire Giant. The isolated Four Belfries destination does not lead to this armor.
2. Continue through the dungeon, defeat Godskin Duo and follow the Dragon Temple Rooftop route to the lift leading up to Beside the Great Bridge grace.
3. From the grace, go up both flights of stairs to the great bridge and turn southeast, uphill. The Draconic Tree Sentinel stands near the fog door at the high end.
4. Defeat that sentinel to receive all four Malformed Dragon pieces together. It uses a large hammer, fireballs from its horse and Lightning attacks; give yourself room on the bridge to avoid being pushed over an edge.
5. The armor is awarded by this enemy, so there is no chest to search and no Item Discovery farm. Maliketh beyond the fog is not required for the outfit.

Notes

• Includes Malformed Dragon Helm, Armor, Gauntlets and Greaves. Together they weigh 38 and provide 67 poise, making this a substantial armor load before adding weapons and talismans.
• Its Lightning negation is the strongest of its elemental defenses. The protection comes from the individual pieces; it does not grant a dragon transformation, dragon-spell bonus or enhanced Lightning attacks.
• All four pieces drop together from the Draconic Tree Sentinel before Maliketh. This is a fixed reward rather than a rare armor farm, and Enia does not sell it after Maliketh.
• The Leyndell entrance sentinel gives a weapon and shield instead. Defeating that earlier enemy does not unlock this outfit.
• No piece can be altered. You can mix the armor with other pieces to manage weight without losing a separate full-outfit effect.
• The sentinel fight is optional for reaching Maliketh, but defeating this particular enemy is required to claim its armor.
