In-game description

Stone hammer made in the lands of the Numen, outside the Lands Between. The tool with which Queen Marika shattered the Elden Ring and Radagon attempted to repair it.

The hammer partially broke upon shattering the Ring, becoming splintered with rune fragments.

Leap up high and, while suspended in midair, imbue the rune shard with light before smashing it down hard onto the ground. The heroic Radagon's signature attack.

Before you go

  • Defeat Radagon and Elden Beast.
  1. Defeat Maliketh to return to the changed capital. Cross the ash toward the Erdtree and climb the familiar root route toward the sanctuary.
  2. Defeat Sir Gideon Ofnir in the sanctuary, then continue up to Queen's Bedchamber.
  3. Climb to the arena before the Erdtree and defeat Godfrey. Continue through his Hoarah Loux phase to finish the encounter and receive the remembrance.
  4. After defeating Hoarah Loux, activate Elden Throne. Enter the Erdtree and defeat Radagon followed by Elden Beast in the same encounter to receive Elden Remembrance.
  5. Return to Enia at Roundtable Hold before starting a later journey. The remembrance exchange remains available after the final fight.
  6. At Enia's remembrance exchange, select Marika's Hammer. Sacred Relic Sword is the alternative reward.

Notes

  • Requires 20 Strength, 12 Dexterity and 19 Faith, and weighs 6. Strength provides the strongest Physical scaling, Dexterity a smaller contribution, and Faith improves Holy damage.
  • Gold Breaker costs 26 FP. You rise into the air, move forward and slam the hammer down, scattering a golden burst around the impact.
  • Both the hammer and golden splinters use the weapon's Physical and Holy attack power. The burst is not an independently Faith-only Holy projectile, so Strength remains useful for the skill.
  • The hammer contact and splinters can hit the same enemy separately. Together they deal about 43 stance damage when both connect.
  • Shard of Alexander improves Gold Breaker. Holy damage bonuses improve its Holy portion, and Physical bonuses improve its Physical portion.
  • Neither Godfrey Icon nor Claw Talisman improves this uncharged skill. Being airborne does not turn it into an ordinary jump attack.
  • The leap can avoid some low attacks and resists interruption, but still leaves a long landing and recovery. It does not make high drops or ledges safe.
  • Uses Somber Smithing Stones to +10. Its skill and affinity are fixed, and grease or weapon enchantments cannot be applied.
  • Elden Remembrance also offers Sacred Relic Sword. Enia lets you choose the hammer before starting Journey 2; use a compatible duplication if you want both choices in the same journey.
