Summons a void that emits a hail of meteorites.

A manifestation of the power with which Astel leveled the Eternal City.

Where to find

Yelough Anix Tunnel

Consecrated Snowfield

Starting Site of Grace: Yelough Anix Tunnel

Before you go

  • Reach Consecrated Snowfield.
  1. Collect both Haligtree Secret Medallion halves: reveal Albus's pot in Village of the Albinaurics for the right half, and defeat Commander Niall in Castle Sol before collecting the left half from the tower behind his arena.
  2. At the Grand Lift of Rold, switch to the secret-medallion action. Pass through Hidden Path to the Haligtree into Consecrated Snowfield, then follow the western cliff north toward Yelough Anix Ruins.
  3. Find the descending approach to Yelough Anix Tunnel in the cliff south of the ruins. Take the entrance lift and activate the grace.
  4. Follow the passage to the pit beside a door locked from the other side. Use the ledge along the pit to descend in two short drops, then take the southern tunnel to the wooden walkways.
  5. Cross the wooden platform, descend its ladder and use the passages around the lower icy chamber. Return to the walkway and take its northern exit into the room with the next ladder.
  6. Climb the two successive ladders and follow the upper passage through the Onyx Lord's chamber. At the next room, open the smaller door on the left to unlock the entrance shortcut.
  7. The large double doors lead to Astel, Stars of Darkness. Open the shortcut before attempting the fight, then defeat Astel for Meteorite of Astel.

Notes

  • Requires 55 Intelligence, two memory slots and a glintstone staff. It costs 60 FP to start, then 12 FP for each continued segment while you hold the cast.
  • Produces a dense meteor shower that deals both Physical and Magic damage. Both damage portions use the casting staff's Sorcery Scaling, rather than Strength scaling for the rocks.
  • Large enemies give the spread more chances to connect. A full shower is not a fixed number of guaranteed hits, so total damage depends heavily on size, distance and whether the target stays in place.
  • Continuing the cast is channeling, not charging. Godfrey Icon does not improve the shower, and holding longer keeps spending FP until you release or run out.
  • Meteorite Staff boosts this gravity sorcery by 30% while held. Cast with another staff if its Sorcery Scaling is better; two active copies of Meteorite Staff multiply to a 69% bonus.
  • Graven talismans improve the sorcery. Magic-only bonuses improve only its Magic portion; they do not also multiply the separate Physical portion.
  • Cerulean Hidden Tear can remove the FP cost during its active window, which helps with the expensive opening cast. It does not prevent a boss from moving away or knocking you out of the animation.
  • Astel, Stars of Darkness in Yelough Anix Tunnel drops this directly. Astel, Naturalborn of the Void in Ranni's quest gives a Remembrance instead and does not award this sorcery.
