LocationNight's Sacred Ground temple

Nokron, Eternal City

Starting Site of Grace: Night's Sacred Ground

Before you go

  • Defeat Starscourge Radahn to open the crater leading into Nokron.
  • Reach Night's Sacred Ground through the rooftops below Ancestral Woods.
  1. Defeat Starscourge Radahn at Redmane Castle. Return to the new crater near Fort Haight in southern Mistwood, marked by floating rocks, and descend its ledges into Nokron.
  2. Follow the rooftops into the ruined building. Drop carefully to the lower floor by its left wall and go through the doorway to Nokron, Eternal City grace.
  3. Leave the grace, cross the courtyard with the gazebo and take the descending path past the Nox Swordstress and Silver Tears. Continue toward the distant mist gate, passing the lower gazebo where Silver Tears drop from the ceiling.
  4. Enter the mist and defeat Mimic Tear. The boss copies your equipment when it transforms. If you remove your weapons before it copies you, you can equip them again afterward while it keeps the original unarmed setup.
  5. Activate Mimic Tear grace, cross the long bridge and leave it on the left into the woods. Follow the left cliff to Ancestral Woods grace.
  6. From the cliff beside Ancestral Woods grace, jump onto the building roof below. Follow the narrow ledges around the buildings and drop onto the rounded roof, watching for Silver Tears that change into humanoid enemies.
  7. Cross the broken stone arch into the large church. Stay on its upper level beside the altar rather than dropping onto the floor with the huge silver ball.
  8. Take the side corridor toward the imp seal for Mimic Tear Ashes. Before the seal, use the last open window on the right without metal bars to reach the outer ledge. Watch for the Silver Tear outside.
  9. Follow the ledge around to the other open window and jump back inside onto the high platform. Loot Nox Flowing Hammer from the corpse there. You do not need a Stonesword Key or the Mimic Tear chest to collect it.

Notes

  • Requires 17 Strength and seven Dexterity, and weighs 6.5. Strength gives much stronger physical scaling than Dexterity. It deals physical strike damage and has no native Magic damage or status buildup.
  • Flowing Form costs 16 FP. The hammer stretches into a long sweeping blow followed by a downward slam. Position yourself so both parts can reach the enemy rather than only clipping it with the first swing.
  • The skill uses the hammer's attack power. Upgrade level and its supported physical attributes matter; Intelligence does not strengthen it just because the weapon came from the Eternal City.
  • The sword and hammer share the skill name Flowing Form, but perform different attacks with different FP costs. Owning one weapon does not unlock the other version as a transferable Ash of War.
  • Upgrade it with Somber Smithing Stones to +10. Its skill and affinity cannot be replaced, and grease or a weapon enchantment cannot be applied. Its critical rating is the normal 100.
  • A fixed corpse pickup reached through the upper church window detour in Night's Sacred Ground. Ordinary Nox Monks do not randomly drop it, and the imp seal nearby belongs to a different reward.
