Before you go
- Defeat Morgott and open the route from Leyndell to the Forbidden Lands.
- From the Forbidden Lands grace, turn back into the nearby lift building. This is the lift connecting the Forbidden Lands to Leyndell, rather than the Grand Lift of Rold farther ahead.
- Ride the lift upward while looking toward the southwestern wall. Shortly after it starts moving, an open doorway and small landing come into view inside the shaft.
- Step into the hidden lift-shaft room and loot Official's Attire from the corpse near its doorway. The dagger is on the desk farther inside.
