About this set
You can mix these pieces with other armor. Matching the outfit does not add a separate full-set bonus; special effects come from the individual pieces.
The 3 regular pieces weigh 13.8 in total and provide 21 poise together. Add your weapons and talismans before checking whether you can keep a medium roll.
The outfit has three pieces and no matching gloves. The mask costs 1,000 runes, the clothing 1,500 and the trousers 1,000, for 3,500 in total.

Where to find
Merchant beneath the ruins
Ainsel River
Starting Site of Grace: Ainsel River Sluice Gate
Before you go
- Have 3,500 runes for all regular pieces.
- Find Ainsel River Well on eastern Liurnia's high ground and ride its lift underground. Activate Ainsel River Well Depths grace at the bottom.
- Take the tunnel guarded by giant ants, rather than the dead-end water passage. Watch the ceiling and draw the ants down separately if you want to fight them.
- At the first lit fork, take the right branch. Continue into the room with piles of corpses, then follow the passage toward the stone sluice structure.
- Climb the stone ramp and cross the bridge. Activate Ainsel River Sluice Gate grace in the cave ahead, then take the nearby lift down into Uhl Palace Ruins.
- Pass the slow Claymen and go through the large entrance into the next cavern. The hanging creature above the far ruin fires volleys across the room. Move between ruined walls and pillars for cover, then enter the sheltered room directly beneath it.
- The merchant is inside that room, beside the Ainsel River map pickup. You do not need to defeat the Dragonkin Soldier or advance Ranni's quest to reach this shop.
- Open Purchase and buy the regular outfit pieces separately for 3,500 runes in total.
Prisoner starting equipment
- Choose Prisoner when creating your character. You begin with this outfit, so no merchant or boss is needed.

- The iron mask weighs 8.6, more than the clothing and trousers combined at 5.2. Replacing it is a useful way to reduce equip load without removing the rest of the outfit.
- Prisoner's starting Dexterity and Intelligence belong to the class, not the armor. None of these pieces raises either attribute or improves sorceries.
