Crafting after obtaining Missionary's Cookbook [3]

Caelid

Starting Site of Grace: Smoldering Church

Before you go

• Crafting Kit
• Missionary's Cookbook [3]
• Ingredients per batch: 3 Rowa Fruit, 1 Four-Toed Fowl Foot and 1 Silver Firefly

1. Follow the northeastern Limgrave road east across the border into Caelid.
2. Enter Smoldering Church beside the road and activate its grace.
3. Loot the corpse inside for the cookbook. Watch for Anastasia's invasion around the church.
4. Buy the Crafting Kit from Kalé at Church of Elleh for 300 runes if Item Crafting is unavailable.
5. Collect 3 Rowa Fruit, 1 Four-Toed Fowl Foot and 1 Silver Firefly. Outside combat, open Item Crafting and select Silver-Pickled Fowl Foot. One batch makes 1.

Notes

• Adds 50 Item Discovery for three minutes. This improves eligible random enemy drops, without increasing the runes earned from a kill.
• The bonus is 50 Discovery points, not 50 percentage points added to every drop chance. Rare equipment can still take many attempts.
• Combines with Silver Scarab's 75 Discovery for 125 extra points, in addition to your ordinary Discovery and Arcane contribution.
• Silver Horn Tender and Silver-Pickled Fowl Foot replace each other. Use one or the other; neither stacks multiple copies of its own bonus or stores several three-minute periods.
• Use it before defeating the enemy. It cannot improve loot already decided by a kill, fixed chest contents or a guaranteed quest reward.
• The recipe makes one from three Rowa Fruit, one Four-Toed Fowl Foot and one Silver Firefly.
• The third Missionary book is on a corpse inside Smoldering Church at the Limgrave-Caelid border. Watch for Anastasia's invasion while collecting it.
• The effect survives resting at a grace, so a short farming loop can cover several attempts. Death or fast travel removes it; apply a replacement after arriving at your destination.
• Each use consumes one and costs no FP. Carry up to ten, with another 999 in storage.
