Glintstone sorceries

One of the glintstone sorceries of the Academy of Raya Lucaria.

Fires six magic shooting stars that pursue the target.

This sorcery can be cast while in motion. Charging enhances potency.

The most difficult to master of the Olivinus Conspectus sorceries.

Raya Lucaria study room, then Church of Vows

Liurnia of the Lakes

Starting Site of Grace: Schoolhouse Classroom

Before you go

• Academy Glintstone Key.
• 10,000 runes for the spell.

1. Collect the Academy Glintstone Key from the corpse behind the sleeping dragon on the island north of Temple Quarter, west of Raya Lucaria. You can grab it without defeating the dragon.
2. At South Raya Lucaria Gate, examine the blue seal to reach Main Academy Gate. Take the nearby lift up, climb past the two spellcasters and enter the church.
3. Watch for the marionettes dropping inside, then use the side doorway to activate Church of the Cuckoo grace. Continue out into the graveyard.
4. Follow the graveyard path down across the wooden bridge, then uphill on the far side. The crawling enemies try to grab you and drain FP. Pass through the torch-lit doorway at the far end to reach the waterwheel.
5. Step onto an ascending platform and ride upward. Jump off at the upper landing before the wheel carries you over, then climb the stairs into Schoolhouse Classroom and activate its grace.
6. Leave Schoolhouse Classroom up the short stairs and turn left into the study at the end of the corridor. Loot Conspectus Scroll from the corpse; the cookbook is in a separate chest.
7. Take the scroll to Miriel at the Church of Vows in eastern Liurnia. From Artist's Shack, follow the road north and take the uphill branch toward the ruined church, where the large turtle in a white mitre is waiting.
8. Give Miriel the scroll, then open his purchase menu. Sellen and Seluvis are alternative teachers while their shops remain available; handing over the scroll unlocks stock rather than giving you the spells for free.
9. Purchase Star Shower for 10,000 runes. Rest at a grace and memorize it once you meet its Intelligence requirement.

Notes

• Needs 24 Intelligence and one memory slot. It costs 23 FP to send six pursuing stars, dealing Magic damage through the casting staff's Sorcery Scaling.
• Hold the cast input to charge for more damage. You can walk while casting, but the animation still leaves an opening for an enemy to hit you.
• The stars briefly hang before pursuing the target. That delay and their tracking help against enemies that dodge the initial casting motion, though scenery or a well-timed dodge can still waste the volley.
• Six projectiles do not guarantee six hits. Give them a clear path and enough room to turn toward the target instead of firing into a nearby wall.
• Lusat's Glintstone Crown raises Star Shower's damage by 10%, with a 15% FP-cost increase for all sorceries. Its 15% damage bonus applies to Stars of Ruin instead, which is a separate spell.
• Godfrey Icon benefits a fully charged cast. Graven-School and Graven-Mass Talismans also apply to its damaging sorcery hits.
• Buy it for 10,000 runes after handing over Conspectus Scroll. If the teacher later dies, their bell bearing can retain the unlocked spell; the Husks cannot take a new scroll.
