About this item

Uses 7 FP per ring to release a slow, pursuing wraith. You can ring it repeatedly, but every release spends another 7 FP. The bell itself is reusable and has no attribute requirement.

Deals magic damage and scales with both Intelligence and Faith. Faith provides the stronger scaling despite the attack dealing magic damage. Its damage does not come from the sorcery or incantation scaling of an equipped casting weapon.

Lock onto the enemy before ringing. The projectile takes time to accelerate and arrive, which gives you time to prepare another action while it travels. It can also draw one enemy away from a group without spending arrows.

In-game description

Bell used by worshippers of revenants.

Ring bell, using FP to summon prowling wraiths. This can be done multiple times in a row.

Wraiths are said to be the vengeful spirits of those who died when cursed.

Where to find

Underground chest at Laskyar Ruins

Liurnia of the Lakes

Starting Site of Grace: Laskyar Ruins

  1. From Liurnia Lake Shore, ride northwest across the shallow water to the broken buildings at Laskyar Ruins. Activate the grace at the southern edge if you have not already found it.
  2. Work around the ruins toward their northwestern side and look for the exposed stone stairwell descending below ground. Revenant followers and a larger enemy can appear among the buildings, so clear some space before dismounting.
  3. Go down the stairs, open the underground door and loot the chest for Wraith Calling Bell. This is the cellar chest, not the separate waygate standing above ground. No boss defeat or key is required.

Notes

  • Uses 7 FP per ring to release a slow, pursuing wraith. You can ring it repeatedly, but every release spends another 7 FP. The bell itself is reusable and has no attribute requirement.
  • Deals magic damage and scales with both Intelligence and Faith. Faith provides the stronger scaling despite the attack dealing magic damage. Its damage does not come from the sorcery or incantation scaling of an equipped casting weapon.
  • Lock onto the enemy before ringing. The projectile takes time to accelerate and arrive, which gives you time to prepare another action while it travels. It can also draw one enemy away from a group without spending arrows.
  • The low FP cost makes it convenient for a small ranged hit, but the slow projectile and modest damage do not make it a substitute for every offensive spell. Enemies can avoid it, and walls can stop it.
  • Its projectile can trigger Carian Retaliation when you parry your own wraith. That interaction is separate from the bell's damage; old footage of invisible, extremely damaging retaliation blades reflects a patched launch-era bug.
  • This is an attacking tool. Spirit Calling Bell is the separate item used for Spirit Ash summons. Wraith Calling Bell needs neither a rebirth monument nor a memory slot, and it does not summon a companion.
  • The Omen Set boosts the two Omen Bairns, while Braided Cord Robe boosts Horned Bairn. Neither specific bonus covers this bell.
