Where to find
Starting Site of Grace: Table of Lost Grace
Before you go
- Obtain a half of the Haligtree Secret Medallion.
- If you want Ensha's What Do You Want? gesture, interact with him outside Gideon's study before collecting the medallion. The invasion ends that earlier meeting.
- Complete the Albus medallion, invasion and armor pickup early, before burning the Erdtree. This route is available in Liurnia and does not need to wait for the Mountaintops or the left medallion half.
- From southern Liurnia's lake, travel under the huge western cliff to the poisoned village beneath it. Follow the rising path past the hanging bodies to Village of the Albinaurics grace.
- Continue uphill past the perfumer, but stop before crossing the stone bridge toward the Omenkiller.
- Look beside the path for a large pot. Roll into it or strike it once to reveal Albus, then speak to him until he hands over the medallion half.
- After Albus appears, stop attacking and finish his dialogue to receive the right half. The Omenkiller across the bridge is unnecessary for this conversation.
- Return to Roundtable Hold with the medallion half. Ensha invades in a darkened version of the hold. Defeat him to receive Clinging Bone and return to the normal rooms.
- Afterward, go to the wall outside Gideon's study where Ensha used to stand. Loot the four Royal Remains pieces there. The armor is a separate pickup after the weapon reward.
Notes
- Requires 8 Strength, 22 Dexterity and 16 Arcane. Physical damage favors Dexterity, with smaller Arcane and Strength contributions. Its Magic damage scales with Arcane rather than Intelligence.
- A paired fist weapon: two-handing one copy equips both hands. It has no innate Blood Loss, Poison or other status buildup despite its Arcane scaling.
- Upgrade it with Somber Smithing Stones to +10. Lifesteal Fist is fixed, and it cannot use another Ash of War or affinity. Grease and weapon enchantments cannot be applied.
- Lifesteal Fist costs 14 FP and performs a slow grab. A successful full drain restores 30% of your maximum HP; ordinary punches do not heal you.
- The drain works on eligible humanoid opponents, including Omens and Crucible Knights. A large animal or boss is not eligible merely because the opening punch can damage it; an ineligible target gives no grab or healing.
- The skill has an added Magic damage component that improves with Arcane and weapon upgrades. That is separate from Dexterity's stronger contribution to ordinary Physical punches.
- Shard of Alexander improves the skill, and Dagger Talisman can strengthen its special grab. This does not make it an ordinary backstab or trigger every critical reward, such as Assassin's Cerulean Dagger.
- It has a critical rating of 100. The weapon and the Royal Remains armor provide different kinds of healing: the weapon needs a successful drain, while each armor piece has its own low-health recovery.
- The drain carries no ordinary weapon status buildup. Its multi-hit animation does not turn the paired fist into a Blood Loss weapon.
- Unlike a buffable fist with the transferable Ash, this Somber weapon cannot add a Magic grease or spell coating to the repeated grab contacts.
- The slow opening can be interrupted or avoided. It is useful against an eligible target in a safe opening, rather than a guaranteed emergency heal while surrounded.
- Complete the Albus medallion, invasion and armor pickup early, before burning the Erdtree. This route is available in Liurnia and does not need to wait for the Mountaintops or the left medallion half.
