Starting Site of Grace: Secluded Cell
Before you go
- Defeat Godrick the Grafted and keep his remembrance.
- 2,000 runes for Enia's exchange.
- Follow Stormveil's cliffside entrance through the ramparts to Rampart Tower, then continue through the castle toward the courtyard guarded by soldiers and a troll.
- At the upper end of the courtyard, go right into the small room containing Secluded Cell. Rest here before entering the nearby fog gate.
- Defeat Godrick through both phases to receive the remembrance automatically. The dragon-head phase is part of the same fight.
- Return to Table of Lost Grace in Roundtable Hold and go through the large doors to the Two Fingers' chamber. Speak to Finger Reader Enia and open the remembrance exchange menu.
- Trade Remembrance of the Grafted plus 2,000 runes for Grafted Dragon. Axe of Godrick is the alternative reward, rather than a second item granted by the same exchange.
- If you want both rewards, duplicate the earned remembrance at a suitable bell-bearing Walking Mausoleum or duplication coffin, then claim the other reward separately.
Notes
- Deals physical Strike and Fire damage. Strength is the stronger contributor to its physical damage, with weaker Dexterity scaling; Faith improves its Fire damage.
- Requires 20 Strength, 14 Dexterity and 16 Faith and weighs 2.5. Unlike ordinary paired fist weapons, it cannot be two-handed to produce a second dragon head.
- The two-handed Strength allowance therefore cannot substitute for its 20 Strength requirement. One copy gives a single fist, rather than the usual paired fist attacks.
- Bear Witness! costs 20 FP. It drives the head into the ground, drags it forward and erupts upward with Fire before scattering burning debris.
- The close contact, eruption, falling debris and lingering fire are separate parts of the attack. A large target may be hit by more of them, while an enemy that moves away can escape much of the damage.
- The skill's damaging parts are Fire-based. Faith improves the weapon's Fire scaling, while extra Strength mainly serves its ordinary physical punches. Do not treat a higher physical attack rating as the same improvement to every fire patch.
- Shard of Alexander improves the skill, and Fire damage bonuses improve its Fire damage. The lingering patches deal damage rather than applying a special percentage-health burn.
- Its ordinary heavy punches share the compact heavy-attack pattern of Iron Ball and Star Fist. It has no innate bleed, and its critical rating is 100.
- Deals 5% extra damage to enemies in the ordinary dragon category and 10% to the ancient-dragon category. These classification bonuses do not mean every enemy with a dragon-like appearance receives the same bonus.
- Upgrade with Somber Smithing Stones to +10. Bear Witness! is fixed; another Ash of War, affinity, grease or weapon enchantment cannot be applied.
- Enia offers one copy per journey. Duplicating the remembrance lets you claim the other reward, rather than buy a second Grafted Dragon from the same stock.
