About this spirit
Costs 91 FP and summons a Curseblade with paired circular blades and spinning melee sequences.
Her repeated hits can build Blood Loss against susceptible enemies. Immunity to bleeding removes that extra effect without making her direct blade damage disappear.
She commits to long moving attacks rather than maintaining a shield guard. Large sweeps and area attacks can punish the sequence even when it pressures smaller enemies well.

In-game description
Ashen remains in which spirits yet dwell. Use to summon the spirit of Curseblade Meera. Attacks immediately after being summoned.
Curseblades appear to dance when they spin their shimmering circular blades. These ascetics, who failed to become tutelary deities, were a scourge for those who attempted to invade the hornsent homeland.
Long ago, before the land was overshadowed by invasion, this scourged was shunned, and the curseblades were imprisoned. It was during this confinement that Meera met Labirith, and upon her death, Labirith was plunged into a devastating darkness.
Where to find
Curseblade Labirith in Bonny Gaol
Scadu Altus
Starting Site of Grace: Bonny Gaol
- From Highroad Cross in Scadu Altus, follow the road east to Moorth Ruins and activate the grace beside the cross.
- Pass through the large stone arch east-southeast of the grace. At the house ahead, turn left toward the leaning tower. Avoid the large open shaft behind the house, which is too deep for a direct drop.
- Find the smaller gap between the broken building and the rock wall in front of the leaning tower. Drop onto the balcony-like ledge, turn right past the dogs and follow the cave inward.
- In the open chamber at the end, take the back-left ledges down onto the lower roof. Look for the small shrine guarded by three Inquisitors and collect Golden Arcs from the chest inside.
- To continue east, drop from the lower roof to the ground and take the cave beside the building on the left. Follow it to the long ladder and climb out of the well at Bonny Village grace.
- From Bonny Village, cross the southern bridge instead of the eastern pair leading toward Shadow Keep. Follow the path to Bonny Gaol on the right and activate the entrance grace.
- Follow the entry ramp through the prison rooms and drop through the open wooden hatch into the flooded tunnel.
- Head west through the slimes, then take the southern side passage to the large living-jar chamber. The eastern rat tunnel is an optional talisman detour.
- Cross the jar room and use the eastern opening to drop into the prisoner rooms below. Continue through them to the lower central cavern.
- Take the door opposite the stairs, open the next door onto a balcony and drop onto the hanging jar. Ride it down to the bridge.
- Cross the bridge carefully; prisoners break out of jars along it. At the far end, drop to the left and follow the stairs to the boss fog.
- Defeat Curseblade Labirith for Meera. Riding the jar upward toward the Night armor is optional.
Notes
- Costs 91 FP and summons a Curseblade with paired circular blades and spinning melee sequences.
- Her repeated hits can build Blood Loss against susceptible enemies. Immunity to bleeding removes that extra effect without making her direct blade damage disappear.
- She commits to long moving attacks rather than maintaining a shield guard. Large sweeps and area attacks can punish the sequence even when it pressures smaller enemies well.
- Give her room to approach the target and avoid expecting a precise, stationary tank. Her movement can change where the enemy turns during a combo.
- Upgrade her with Ghost Glovewort through Roderika, up to +10.
- Curseblade Labirith in Bonny Gaol awards Meera. Riding the hanging jar upward for the Night armor is optional; the boss route uses the lower bridge and drop.
- Attacks immediately after being summoned. Give her a clear path to the intended enemy rather than expecting a passive follower to wait for you to choose an opening.
- Her paired blades and Bleed are part of her own moveset. Holding a Bleed-boosting weapon or raising your Arcane does not give the summon your personal attack scaling.
- Upgrades through Roderika to +10 with Ghost Glovewort, finishing with a Great Ghost Glovewort. Reinforcement does not increase the summoning payment.
- Requires Spirit Calling Bell and an area where the rebirth-monument icon allows summoning. The ash remains reusable, but you cannot repeatedly replace fallen spirits during the same encounter.
