Notes

• Requires 5 Strength, 12 Dexterity and 16 Intelligence and weighs 1.5. It deals physical and magic damage. Dexterity is the strongest physical scaling attribute, Strength adds a smaller amount, and Intelligence improves the magic damage.
• Has a critical rating of 110, above the usual 100. That helps backstabs and ripostes, but does not mean every ordinary attack or projectile gets a flat 10% damage bonus.
• Glintstone Dart costs 10 FP. Hold the skill to charge a stronger magic projectile that can pass through enemies, making it useful when several targets line up. Its damage scales with weapon upgrade level and Intelligence rather than an equipped staff's sorcery scaling.
• After firing, press strong attack for the long lunging thrust, which costs another 4 FP. The thrust has substantial stance damage for a dagger, but moves you toward the enemy; skip it if that would put you inside an incoming attack.
• Godfrey Icon improves the charged projectile, while Shard of Alexander boosts the weapon skill. Charging the dart does not turn every later attack into a charged attack. The ordinary dagger attacks and the skill also use different damage calculations.
• Upgrade with Somber Smithing Stones to +10. Glintstone Dart is fixed, and you cannot change the affinity or apply grease or a weapon enchantment.
• Assist Sellen with the gold summon sign outside Raya Lucaria Grand Library at her final quest decision. The red sign supports Jerren and gives different rewards. Speak to Sellen afterward for the dagger rather than expecting it to appear as Jerren's dropped weapon.
• It is a quest reward, not a random drop from academy sorcerers. You cannot buy a second copy from Sellen during the same journey.
