Starting Site of Grace: Raya Lucaria Crystal Tunnel

Find Raya Lucaria Crystal Tunnel in the cliff on the northeastern shore of Liurnia's lake. Take the entrance lift down and activate the grace.
Continue through the first mining rooms. When you reach the lift that will not move yet, use the passage beside it to go deeper through the next room of miners.
Take the working lift farther along down to the lower level, then cross the wooden beam. Watch for the enemy patrolling its far end.
Continue into the passage with Marionette Soldiers hanging above it. Pass the first room on the right and check the second room on the right.
Clear the Marionettes guarding that room and open the chest to collect Crystal Knife. You do not need to defeat the tunnel boss for it.

Requires eight Strength, 12 Dexterity and nine Intelligence, and weighs two. Its physical damage scales more strongly with Strength than Dexterity, while Intelligence raises its separate Magic damage.
Uses ordinary Smithing Stones to +25, even though its skill and affinity are fixed. Regular reinforcement does not make every weapon compatible with replacement Ashes of War.
Quickstep costs three FP and provides a short evasive movement for repositioning. It is a movement skill rather than a ranged crystal attack.
Cannot change its skill or affinity, and grease or a weapon enchantment cannot be applied. It has no native bleeding, rot or Frostbite.
Its critical rating is 100, below the 110 of many daggers. The crystal appearance also does not give a passive bonus to Crystalian sorceries; those staff bonuses belong to Crystal Staff and Rotten Crystal Staff.
Found in a fixed chest guarded by Marionettes in Raya Lucaria Crystal Tunnel. It is not a rare miner drop, and the Crystalian boss and its bell bearing are separate from this pickup.
