About this spirit

Costs 54 FP and summons two Godrick soldiers with close-range weapons and crossbow support. One use brings out both at the same upgrade level.

The mix gives them more reach than a purely melee group. The ranged soldier still needs a clear shot and can be drawn into close combat.

Two targets can split an enemy's attention early in a Journey, but ordinary soldiers do not have the durability of an armored knight summon.

In-game description

Ashen remains in which spirits yet dwell.

Use to summon the spirits of two of Godrick's soldiers.

A duo of spirits, consisting of a wielder of devastating charged hammer attacks in the vanguard and a crossbowman bringing up the rear.

The soldiers who serve Godrick the Grafted are what remains of the army that fled the royal capital of the Erdtree.

Where to find

Jellyfish cemetery southwest of Stormhill Shack

Limgrave

Starting Site of Grace: Stormhill Shack

  1. From Gatefront, ride uphill through Stormgate and continue to Stormhill Shack. Activate the grace beside the small ruined building.
  2. Head southwest from the shack into the wooded area near the western cliffs. Look for the graveyard with floating Spirit Jellyfish.
  3. Search the eastern part of the cemetery and loot the body among the graves for the ashes. The western graves contain a different pickup, so check the item name before leaving.
  4. The jellyfish are not the Spirit Jellyfish Ashes reward. Those come from speaking with Roderika, not from killing enemies in this cemetery.

  • Upgrade the pair with Grave Glovewort. You do not need to buy a separate upgrade for each soldier.
  • The corpse is in the jellyfish cemetery southwest of Stormhill Shack. Margit and Stormveil Castle are unnecessary for this open-area pickup.
  • The cemetery's floating jellyfish do not drop Spirit Jellyfish Ashes. Roderika provides those through her separate conversations.
