About this spirit
Costs 185 HP instead of FP and summons five small Miranda Sprouts. Have more health than the required payment and heal when safe.
They attack nearby targets and build Poison. They are not the enormous spellcasting flowers, and do not provide the same long-range attack role.
Their slow movement makes placement important. A mobile enemy fighting at the other side of an arena can leave the group unable to contribute.

In-game description
Ashen remains in which spirits yet dwell.
Use to summon the spirits of five miranda sprouts.
Summoning consumes HP rather than FP.
Spirits of sweet little miranda flowers, carnivorous blossoms that feed upon human flesh. They creep slowly, scattering toxic pollen.
Vulnerable to fire—do take care of the little darlings.
Where to find
Hidden room beneath the stairs in Caelid Catacombs
Caelid
Starting Site of Grace: Caelid Catacombs
- From eastern Limgrave, follow the road beyond Summonwater Village into Caelid. Stay on the highway as it curves south around the Swamp of Aeonia toward Caelid Highway South.
- Follow Caelid's main highway along the southern edge of the Swamp of Aeonia.
- From Caelid Highway South, continue southeast along the road toward the junction below the swamp.
- Find Caelid Catacombs at the southern cliff southeast of the Cathedral of Dragon Communion. Approach by the lower path around the cliff rather than trying to drop directly from the cathedral.
- Enter, descend past the skeletons and reach the chamber with Scarlet Rot on the lower floor. Remove the archer on the ledge before searching below.
- Go down into the rot and turn back beneath the staircase you used. Strike the wall under the stairs to reveal a small hidden room.
- Enter and collect the ashes. The large rot flower can attack while you search, so cure rot and retreat to dry ground once you have the pickup.
- You do not need to defeat the Cemetery Shade. Its separate reward is the Kindred of Rot Ashes.
Notes
- Costs 185 HP instead of FP and summons five small Miranda Sprouts. Have more health than the required payment and heal when safe.
- They attack nearby targets and build Poison. They are not the enormous spellcasting flowers, and do not provide the same long-range attack role.
- Their slow movement makes placement important. A mobile enemy fighting at the other side of an arena can leave the group unable to contribute.
- Fire is particularly dangerous to them. A boss repeatedly covering their position in flames can remove several before their Poison pressure matters.
- Upgrade the group with Grave Glovewort. The shared HP cost brings out all five rather than paying 185 HP per flower.
- The ashes are behind the false wall under Caelid Catacombs' earlier stairs. The Cemetery Shade is optional for them and gives Kindred of Rot Ashes instead.
- These are the small flowers. They do not provide the large Miranda flowers' distant rain of magical light just because both enemies share a name.
- Poison immunity stops their status effect from triggering. Five separate attackers do not override an enemy's immunity or guarantee that all their pollen reaches it.
- Upgrades through Roderika to +10 with Grave Glovewort, finishing with a Great Grave Glovewort. Reinforcement does not increase the summoning payment.
- Requires Spirit Calling Bell and an area where the rebirth-monument icon allows summoning. The ash remains reusable, but you cannot repeatedly replace fallen spirits during the same encounter.
