About this spirit

One of Seluvis's favorite puppets.

Use to summon the spirit of Nepheli Loux.

Puppet of a warrior who was betrayed by her pure heart. Wields a Stormhawk Axe in both hands and uses the Thunderstorm skill.

A diamond in the rough, deserving of special care lest its potential be squandered. Nepheli Loux truly was a warrior.

Before you go

• Choose the potion branch that ends Nepheli's quest.

1. Reach the western Liurnia road and follow it north through Kingsrealm Ruins. Strike the illusory wall blocking the road at the northern end, then continue past Iji at Road to the Manor.
2. Ride toward the large manor while avoiding the magical strikes falling along the approach. Activate Main Caria Manor Gate grace at the entrance.
3. Inside, follow the courtyard path northwest toward the building in the far corner. Fingercreepers hide among the plants and beneath the ground; do not stop on a buried hand.
4. Enter the building with the seated spirit and climb its stairs to Manor Lower Level grace.
5. Take the elevated walkways east and continue straight along the main route at the first junction. Spectral soldiers appear along the bridges. Reach the far building and take its lift up to Manor Upper Level.
6. Leave the upper grace, pass the wolves in the garden and climb the main stone stairway toward the Troll Knight and sorcerers.
7. Continue up the stairs beyond the troll and Pages to the large circular courtyard. Defeat Royal Knight Loretta, then activate Royal Moongazing Grounds grace.
8. Leave Loretta's arena through the northern exit into Three Sisters. Visit Ranni's Rise to the west, agree to serve her, speak to the projections downstairs and speak to Ranni again before leaving.
9. Visit Seluvis's Rise south of Ranni's tower and accept the potion task. Keep Ranni's Fingerslayer Blade handover for after any puppet purchases you still need.
10. Keep the potion. Meet Nepheli in Stormveil's room near Secluded Cell and speak to her after Godrick at Roundtable Hold. Later, find her on the uphill path into Village of the Albinaurics beneath Liurnia's western plateau.
11. Speak to her at the village, cross its stone bridge and defeat the Omenkiller. Summoning her for that fight is optional.
12. Return to Roundtable Hold and speak to Nepheli at the bottom of the stairs beside Hewg. Ask Gideon about Nepheli's despair, then return to her and finish the conversation.
13. Choose to give her the potion before giving The Stormhawk King. This ends her normal quest for the Journey and prevents using the potion for Dung Eater Puppet.
14. After finishing any puppet purchases you want from Seluvis, continue to Ranni's treasure as follows.
15. Defeat Starscourge Radahn at the Radahn Festival in Redmane Castle. His defeat opens the starfall crater in Limgrave; it is not the sealed Siofra River overlook reached from the Four Belfries.
16. Return to the Mistwood near Fort Haight and find the new crater marked by floating rocks. Use the descending ledges and openings to enter Nokron, Eternal City.
17. Follow the rooftops down into Nokron's streets, then continue to the Mimic Tear boss. Defeat it and cross the long bridge beyond the arena.
18. Leave the bridge on the left where it opens into woodland. Follow the western cliff to Ancestral Woods grace, overlooking the lower rooftops.
19. From beside the grace, drop to the roof below. Follow the roofs and narrow building ledges, fighting or avoiding the Silver Tears, until you can cross the broken stone arch into the large church.
20. Descend to the church's lower floor and watch the enormous rolling ball. Leave through the main doorway and go down to Night's Sacred Ground grace.
21. Follow the lower street past the Silver Tears toward the enormous seated skeleton. Climb the stairs below its throne and open the chest for Fingerslayer Blade. The nearby locked side room for Mimic Tear Ashes is not needed for this chest.
22. Give Ranni Fingerslayer Blade to trigger Seluvis's death, then return to Three Sisters for Pidia.
23. Leave Royal Moongazing Grounds through the northern exit into Three Sisters. Turn left and follow the cliff edge until you find a blue Cerulean Tear Scarab above Caria Manor's roofs.
24. Look below the cliff for the roof you can safely drop onto. Drop down, then use the wooden platforms along the building's side to descend to the lower roof.
25. Find the opening in that roof and climb down the ladder. Pidia is on the balcony directly above the Manor Lower Level grace, but this balcony is reached from the roof.
26. After Pidia's puppets kill him, loot his body for Nepheli Loux Puppet and his bell bearing. This branch replaces his Dolores reward.

Notes

• Costs 90 FP and summons a puppet using paired Stormhawk Axes and lightning attacks. Upgrade her with Ghost Glovewort.
• Her quick melee combinations and Thunderstorm can pressure enemies and help break stance. Large enemies can still punish her during those committed attacks.
• This is separate from summoning living Nepheli through her NPC signs. Receiving the puppet ends that living quest route and forfeits her throne-room reward and later assistance.
• The potion used on Nepheli cannot also be used to obtain Dung Eater Puppet in the same Journey. Giving it to Gideon preserves her quest but prevents the puppet reward.
• Pidia's later corpse gives Nepheli's puppet only on the branch where she received the potion. The other branch leaves Dolores instead.
• Killing Pidia early does not award both puppet outcomes. Finish the intended sequence rather than attacking him to try to bypass it.
• Do not give her The Stormhawk King first if this is the reward you want. The potion is offered while she is still in despair after the Albinauric village, and the king advances her other branch.
• Speak to Nepheli downstairs, discuss Nepheli's despair with Gideon, then return and finish her dialogue before choosing the potion. Hearing only her first distressed line does not complete those prerequisites.
• Her corpse reward comes from Pidia after Seluvis dies; it is not sold as Nepheli's puppet in Seluvis's ordinary puppet inventory.
