About this spirit
Costs 11 FP to summon one Noble Sorcerer. Upgrade him with Grave Glovewort; the low summoning cost remains useful on characters with a small FP bar.
Casts Glintstone Pebble for Magic damage and swings his staff if an enemy closes in. He is a fragile ranged helper, rather than an armored battlemage.
Can cower instead of fighting large, intimidating enemies such as Flying Dragon Agheel. Do not rely on uninterrupted spellcasting in those encounters.

In-game description
Ashen remains in which spirits yet dwell.
Use to summon the spirit of a noble sorcerer.
Spirit of a nobleman who once asked to be given a place at Raya Lucaria to learn glintstone sorceries.
His talents were insufficient to be worthy of donning the stone crown, however, and he is only capable of using the most rudimentary sorcery.
Where to find
Stormfoot Catacombs
Limgrave
Starting Site of Grace: Stormfoot Catacombs
- From Church of Elleh, head northwest toward the cliff, keeping west of Gatefront. Find the seated enemy by a fire outside the catacomb doorway and activate the grace inside.
- Pass the closed boss door and descend into the imp chamber. Continue to the fire corridor, using the side alcove between bursts to reach the flame pillar. Hit it to lower it.
- Take the side corridor and avoid the second flame trap. Climb the ladder in the alcove to the upper rooms.
- Clear the imps, then return to the first room above the ladder. Drop onto the intermediate ledge with the statue, not all the way to the floor.
- Pull the lever, drop down and return up the stairs to the boss door. Defeat the Erdtree Burial Watchdog to receive the ashes.
Notes
- Costs 11 FP to summon one Noble Sorcerer. Upgrade him with Grave Glovewort; the low summoning cost remains useful on characters with a small FP bar.
- Casts Glintstone Pebble for Magic damage and swings his staff if an enemy closes in. He is a fragile ranged helper, rather than an armored battlemage.
- Can cower instead of fighting large, intimidating enemies such as Flying Dragon Agheel. Do not rely on uninterrupted spellcasting in those encounters.
- Give him a clear line of sight and keep enemies away. His staff swings are a fallback, not a reliable way to survive being surrounded.
- The Watchdog at the end of Stormfoot Catacombs awards these ashes. The five Wandering Nobles are a separate upper-room corpse pickup; collecting that group does not also award this sorcerer.
