About this spirit

Ashen remains in which spirits yet dwell.

Use to summon the spirit of Tricia, the perfumer.

Tricia was once known as a healer who dedicated her efforts to treating Misbegotten, Omen, and all those seen as impure. When her efforts failed, she was their companion as they died, watching over them to ensure that they could pass peacefully, free of pain.

A tale akin to the origins of the deathbed companions.

Starting Site of Grace: Unsightly Catacombs

Before you go

• Bring two Stonesword Keys and defeat both bosses.

1. Reach Altus Plateau by collecting the Dectus Medallion halves from Fort Haight and Fort Faroth, or by defeating Magma Wyrm Makar at Ruin-Strewn Precipice. Reach Abandoned Coffin in the lower western valley.
2. From Abandoned Coffin, follow the shallow lake northwest toward Perfumer's Ruins. Before entering the ruins, take the lower path on the left toward the cliff entrance to Unsightly Catacombs.
3. Spend two Stonesword Keys at the entrance seal and activate the grace inside. Descend the stairs and check the corner on the right for a Misbegotten before approaching the one lying on the floor.
4. Continue north along the passage as it turns right. Deal with the large patrolling Misbegotten and the other enemy coming around the corner before descending the next stairs.
5. Watch for a winged enemy on the right at the bottom. Continue through the passage to the room with a dog and large Misbegotten, then use the hallway on the right relative to where you entered.
6. Follow the stairs winding around the large open chamber to the lower landing. Look down for the floor full of apparently dead Misbegotten, then drop carefully and crouch. Several of those bodies are sleeping enemies.
7. Crouch through the room to its northern hallway and take the stairs up to the boss lever. Pull it to open the main boss doors.
8. Return to the lever ledge and drop onto the dirt below. Turn right, north, to the opened boss doors.
9. Defeat both Perfumer Tricia and the Misbegotten Warrior for Tricia's ashes. Draw the aggressive warrior away from the perfumer so her Fire attacks and support do not cover the entire first exchange.

Notes

• Costs 78 FP and summons a support perfumer using protective aromatic mist and fire attacks. Upgrade her with Ghost Glovewort.
• Her aromatic raises Physical attack damage by 20% for 30 seconds and supplies a separate bubble that reduces the next damaging hit by 90%. A weak hit can spend the bubble before a more dangerous attack arrives.
• The bubble is a separate effect from the attack buff. The aura does not stack with another aura such as Golden Vow, even if the bubble remains useful.
• Stay near enough to receive her support when she uses it. The bubble is not continuous invulnerability and does not make the entire arena safe for trading hits.
• Her fire perfume can cover an area and briefly interrupt susceptible enemies, but fire resistance can make her direct damage less useful.
• Both Tricia and the Misbegotten Warrior must be defeated in Unsightly Catacombs. Winged Misbegotten Ashes are a separate corpse pickup before the boss.
• The attack bonus strengthens Physical damage, not the Fire portion of a weapon or every spell you cast. Her version has its own duration and should not be treated as an ordinary Uplifting Aromatic used from your inventory.
• The protective bubble lasts up to 30 seconds if nothing spends it. Stay close to her mist when she applies it; standing elsewhere in the arena does not automatically grant either effect.
