Starting Site of Grace: Hermit Merchant's Shack

Before you go

• Have 3,500 runes for all regular pieces.
• Visit during the day.

1. Reach Altus Plateau using the Grand Lift of Dectus or the Ruin-Strewn Precipice. Enter the Capital Outskirts inside Leyndell's outer wall; entering the capital itself is not required.
2. From Outer Wall Battleground grace, follow the road east toward the rising ground. Before continuing toward the giant golems, turn northwest onto the uphill path through the graves.
3. Follow that path to Hermit Merchant's Shack near the outer wall. Activate its grace and speak to the merchant inside during daylight.
4. A Bell Bearing Hunter can replace the merchant at night. If the shop is empty, pass time until morning and reload the area instead of looking for another entrance to the shack.
5. Open Purchase and buy the regular outfit pieces separately for 3,500 runes in total.

Prophet starting equipment

1. Choose Prophet when creating your character. You begin with this outfit, so no merchant or boss is needed.

Notes

• You can mix these pieces with other armor. Matching the outfit does not add a separate full-set bonus; special effects come from the individual pieces.
• The 3 regular pieces weigh 10.4 in total and provide 16 poise together. Add your weapons and talismans before checking whether you can keep a medium roll.
• The outfit has three pieces and no matching gloves. The blindfold costs 1,000 runes, the robe 1,500 and the trousers 1,000, for 3,500 in total.
• The blindfold does not darken your view or raise Faith. The outfit has no incantation bonus, and you can fill the empty hand slot with gloves from another set.
• Tailoring the robe saves 1.2 weight and two poise. With the blindfold and trousers, the altered outfit weighs 9.2 and has 14 poise.
