About this spirit

Costs 22 FP and summons one skeleton with paired curved swords. Upgrade it with Grave Glovewort.

It can reassemble after losing its HP if the remains are not struck again during recovery. Draw the enemy away from the glowing bones to give it time.

Lingering flames, broad swings and long combinations can hit the remains and prevent revival. The recovery makes it persistent, rather than immortal.

In-game description

Ashen remains in which spirits yet dwell.

Use to summon the spirit of a skeletal bandit.

This is the spirit of a bandit who lives in Death, and will continue to rise again until properly finished off.

After the night of the plot, Deathroot appeared in the Lands Between, and Those Who Live in Death soon followed.

Where to find

Tibia Mariner pond south of Carian Study Hall

Liurnia of the Lakes

Starting Site of Grace: Liurnia Highway North

  1. From Liurnia Highway North, follow the eastern road toward the shallow pond south of Carian Study Hall. Stay on the raised eastern land rather than heading into the main academy lake.
  2. Find the Tibia Mariner steering its boat in the pond. Attack it while watching for summoned skeletons and its large water attacks.
  3. Follow it when it teleports to another part of the pond. You need to defeat the boatman, not clear every skeleton it summons.
  4. The victory awards the Skeletal Bandit Ashes and a Deathroot. This is the Liurnia Mariner, not the one at Summonwater Village.
