In-game description
Ashen remains in which spirits yet dwell.
Use to summon the spirit of Deenh the Stormhawk.
Spirit of a fierce hawk that faithfully rendered lifelong service to the old king of Stormveil long ago, when the true storm raged. Its cries embolden its fellows in battle, and the tempestuous winds that encircle it shred through foes.
Where to find
Upper room in the Chapel of Anticipation
Liurnia of the Lakes
Starting Site of Grace: The Four Belfries
Before you go
- One Imbued Sword Key for the return route through The Four Belfries.
- Follow the road along western Liurnia to Foot of the Four Belfries grace. At the fork, take the uphill path northeast through the spirit jellyfish and Troll Knights.
- Keep climbing east and then uphill toward the four bell towers. Activate The Four Belfries grace at the highest part of the hill and open the nearby chest for an Imbued Sword Key.
- Walk downhill to the eastern sending gate with the inscription Precipice of Anticipation. Read the inscription before using the key: the other gates lead to different isolated areas.
- Spend one Imbued Sword Key at its imp statue and use the gate. An ordinary Stonesword Key will not work here.
- Follow the island path and bridge to the original Grafted Scion courtyard. Defeat it if it survived your first visit; it drops Ornamental Straight Sword and Golden Beast Crest Shield together.
- Cross the bridge beyond the courtyard and climb the curved wooden stairs to the chapel where you first started. Before using the main entrance, take the now-open side doorway on its right.
- Climb the stairs to the upper outdoor landing. The Stormhawk King is the item lying outside.
- Turn through the upper doorway into the chapel balcony and open the chest on the right for Stormhawk Deenh. It is a separate pickup from the king outside.
Notes
- Costs 47 FP and summons Deenh the Stormhawk. Upgrade him with Ghost Glovewort through Roderika.
- His cry raises physical damage, stamina damage against guards and stance damage by 20% for 60 seconds. He cries when summoned and can repeat it during the fight.
- Stay close enough to receive the cry when it is applied. Its physical bonus does not raise the Magic, Fire, Lightning or Holy portions of your attacks by the same amount.
- The cry is an aura buff, so it replaces or is replaced by another aura such as Golden Vow. Summoning him after applying a different aura can change which bonus you keep.
- Stamina damage against a block and stance damage are different from HP damage. The extra stance pressure is useful for opening a critical opportunity, rather than adding another direct-damage hit.
- His dives can knock human-sized enemies down. He spends much of the fight airborne, but sweeping attacks and explosions can still hit him.
- He does not use the ordinary Warhawk summon's flame spray. His supporting cry is the main reason to choose him over a summon used only for its own attacks.
- The Stormhawk King outside the upper doorway is a separate quest item for Nepheli. Collecting it does not supply Deenh; open the chest inside as well.
