Storied sword and treasure of Caria Manor.

Liurnia of the Lakes
Starting Site of Grace: Manor Lower Level
- Reach the western Liurnia road and follow it north through Kingsrealm Ruins. Strike the illusory wall blocking the road at the northern end, then continue past Iji at Road to the Manor.
- Ride toward the large manor while avoiding the magical strikes falling along the approach. Activate Main Caria Manor Gate grace at the entrance.
- Inside, follow the courtyard path northwest toward the building in the far corner. Fingercreepers hide among the plants and beneath the ground; do not stop on a buried hand.
- Enter the building with the seated spirit and climb its stairs to Manor Lower Level grace.
- Leave Manor Lower Level onto the elevated stone walkways. At the first fork, take the northern route and follow it toward the tower at the dead end.
- Near that tower, look over the northwestern railing for a lower roof. Jump onto it, then drop to the next roof below.
- Climb down the ladder through the roof opening. Open the chest in the locked room for the sword, then open the door to leave.
Notes
- Requires 12 Strength, 12 Dexterity, 24 Intelligence and 24 Faith, and weighs 4. Ordinary attacks combine Physical, Magic and Fire damage.
- Strength and Dexterity contribute equally to Physical damage. Intelligence improves Magic damage and Faith improves Fire damage; neither casting attribute automatically improves the other element.
- Hold Night-and-Flame Stance, then use a light attack for the Magic beam at 26 FP or a heavy attack for the broad Fire sweep at 32 FP. Entering the stance itself costs no FP.
- The beam uses the weapon's Magic attack power and favors Intelligence. The flame uses its Fire attack power and favors Faith. Choose which follow-up you want to emphasize instead of assuming one attribute powers both.
- The sword can also make separate contact at close range. That blade contact uses its full split attack power, while the ranged beam or flame uses its own element.
- The beam deals damage through several contacts, so a moving enemy can escape before the full attack finishes. The flame covers a wider area and can be easier to land against several nearby enemies.
- Rellana's Cameo improves the stance follow-up after at least one second of holding. Shard of Alexander also improves the skill. Godfrey Icon does not, because waiting in the stance is not charging a release.
- Spellblade armor and Magic bonuses help the Magic beam, while Fire bonuses help the flame. Staff of Loss, Lusat's Glintstone Staff and Graven talismans do not improve a weapon skill just because its description mentions sorcery.
- Its three damage portions face their respective defenses separately. The combined attack rating is not one single damage type that bypasses those defenses.
- Uses Somber Smithing Stones to +10. The skill and affinity are fixed, and grease or weapon enchantments cannot be applied.
- It is a legendary armament needed for the legendary armaments achievement. Loretta is unnecessary for the storeroom chest when you use the lower walkways and roof ladder.
