About this spirit

Summons one Twinsage sorcerer using Glintstone Cometshard and Crystal Burst. These are different spells from the Glintstone Stars used by Glintstone Sorcerer Ashes.

Both attacks deal Magic damage. Crystal Burst's name does not mean it adds Frostbite or physical crystal damage.

Crystal Burst can land more of its spread at short range, but that also exposes the caster. Keep the enemy busy rather than leaving him in melee just to force a closer cast.

Black Knife Catacombs

Starting Site of Grace: Black Knife Catacombs

  1. From Ruined Labyrinth, follow the northeastern ravine to the catacomb entrance guarded by a headless knight. Enter and activate Black Knife Catacombs.
  2. Descend past the closed boss doors into the skeleton corridors. Kill the necromancers controlling the glowing skeletons so they stop reviving.
  3. In the room with falling blades, stand on a blade after it strikes the floor and ride it upward. Step off onto the high ledge and follow the upper passage.
  4. Go to the far end and drop through the opening on the right into the chamber behind the locked gate. Pull the lever to open the boss door and use the other lever to leave this chamber.
  5. Return to the main boss doors and defeat the Cemetery Shade and its skeletons for the ashes. The Black Knife Assassin behind an upper false wall is a separate optional boss.

  • Both attacks deal Magic damage. Crystal Burst's name does not mean it adds Frostbite or physical crystal damage.
  • Crystal Burst can land more of its spread at short range, but that also exposes the caster. Keep the enemy busy rather than leaving him in melee just to force a closer cast.
  • A clear lane and time to finish casting are important. Obstacles or constant interruption can reduce his contribution even when his health remains high.
  • The stone crown is his own equipment. Your crown, staff, Intelligence and memorized spells do not replace his fixed spell list.
  • The Cemetery Shade in Black Knife Catacombs awards these ashes. The Black Knife Assassin behind the upper illusory wall gives a different reward and is optional.
  • Costs 89 FP for the whole summon. Upgrade with Grave Glovewort through +10 at Roderika's spirit tuning, rather than using Ghost Glovewort or reinforcing the ashes at a blacksmith.
  • The ashes are reusable. You need the Spirit Calling Bell and an area where the rebirth-monument icon allows Spirit Ashes; owning enough FP does not allow summoning everywhere.
