Use to summon the spirits of five wandering nobles.

The spirits of nobles who, after death, now wander the Lands Between. Surely they were in search of something once—but whatever it was has long been forgotten.

Starting Site of Grace: Stormfoot Catacombs

1. Head northwest from Church of Elleh to the cliff and find Stormfoot Catacombs near the enemy sitting by a fire.
2. Enter, pass the closed boss door and go down into the imp chamber. Continue along the fire corridor, using the side alcove between bursts to reach and lower the first flame pillar.
3. Follow the side passage toward the second flame trap and climb the ladder in its alcove. Clear the imp at the top and the one waiting beside the ladder.
4. Go straight through the upper room into the dead-end crypt. Defeat the two imps and loot the body on the left for the ashes.
5. Return to the earlier upper room if you also want the boss lever. Drop onto the intermediate ledge with the statue; the boss itself is not needed for these ashes.

Notes

• Costs 28 FP and summons five Wandering Nobles: three with swords and two with torches. Upgrade the group with Grave Glovewort.
• They provide physical attacks with some fire from the torches. Their low cost does not turn those attacks into strong damage against every enemy.
• Each noble has limited health and moves slowly. Broad boss attacks can catch several before they spread out or reach useful positions.
• They work as inexpensive extra targets against manageable enemies, rather than a durable companion expected to survive an entire long boss fight.
• The body is in Stormfoot Catacombs' upper dead-end crypt. Its Watchdog boss is optional for these ashes and awards Noble Sorcerer Ashes instead.
