Starting Site of Grace: Foot of the Forge

Before you go

• Reach the southern Mountaintops of the Giants.

1. Reach the southern Mountaintops and cross the giant chain beyond Guardians' Garrison. Follow the Fire Giant approach to Foot of the Forge grace.
2. Ride west to the ruined Church of Repose. Bloody Finger Okina invades outside and forces you off Torrent.
3. Defeat Okina to receive Okina Mask and Rivers of Blood. The remaining White Reed pieces are in Spiritcaller Cave, not on this invader.

Starting Site of Grace: Spiritcaller Cave

Before you go

• Two Stonesword Keys.

1. Reach the Mountaintops using the Rold Medallion after Morgott. At Freezing Lake grace, follow the western edge of the frozen lake southeast toward the cave in the cliff, marked by floating jellyfish.
2. Spend two Stonesword Keys at the entrance statue and activate Spiritcaller Cave grace. Bring a Lantern or another light for the dark passages.
3. Follow the opening passage past the summoning pool. Avoid the fragile floor in the first chamber and take the opening on its southern side.
4. In the first lit chamber, kill the small Spiritcaller Snail to remove its summoned wolves, then follow the southwest passage. At the fork, the left side is a loot room; the other branch goes deeper.
5. Take the deeper branch into the chamber with Inaba, Disciple of Okina. After descending the ledge, find the snail in the bushes behind your landing point to remove its samurai summon.
6. Continue south into the larger lit chamber with wolves and two more samurai spirits. Kill both snails hiding among the plants, one toward the back left and the other toward the back right.
7. Loot the corpse in this larger chamber for White Reed Armor, White Reed Gauntlets and White Reed Greaves. The three pieces are together; the nearby rune and cured meat are separate pickups.
8. The boss fog lies farther south. The armor can be collected without fighting the Godskin spirits or the final snail.

Notes

• The outfit uses Okina Mask, White Reed Armor, White Reed Gauntlets and White Reed Greaves. It takes two separate pickups to collect all four.
• The mask drops from Okina at Church of Repose. The chest, gloves and greaves are together on a corpse in Spiritcaller Cave; the spectral Inaba enemies do not need to be farmed.
• Together the four pieces weigh 19.8 and provide 37 poise. Weapon and talisman weight still counts toward your roll threshold.
• The mask alone gives 3 Dexterity and lowers Focus by 50. Focus protects against Sleep and Madness; it is not the blue FP bar.
• The other three pieces add their armor protection without extending that Dexterity bonus. Matching all four gives no separate set bonus.
• You can replace the mask if you do not want its Focus penalty, while keeping the rest of the outfit.
