About this item
Creates a pale decoy that draws eligible humanoid enemies who are not already fighting. It is a distraction rather than a damage buff or a way to recruit them permanently.
Demi-humans are an exception and can be distracted even during combat. Ordinary soldiers already attacking you do not reliably abandon the fight for it.
The decoy remains for about four seconds. Use the brief opening to pass, reposition or separate enemies rather than expecting a long-lasting companion.

Where to find
Crafting after obtaining Nomadic Warrior's Cookbook [21]
Mt. Gelmir
Starting Site of Grace: Volcano Manor
Before you go
- Crafting Kit
- Nomadic Warrior's Cookbook [21]
- Empty Ritual Pot
- Ingredients for one pot: 1 Albinauric Bloodclot and 5 Human Bone Shard
- Drawing-Room Key
- Join Volcano Manor and receive the Drawing-Room Key from Tanith.
- Open the first room on the right in the nearby hallway and roll or strike the wall at the back to reveal a hidden passage.
- Follow the dark corridor past the snails. Ignore the descending stairs and stay on the southern snail-filled passage to its dead end.
- Loot the corpse with the cookbook. A torch or lantern makes the hidden hallway much easier to follow.
- Buy the Crafting Kit from Kale at Church of Elleh for 300 runes if Item Crafting is unavailable. Keep the cookbook; it remains usable after learning its recipes.
- Collect the listed ingredients and keep an empty Ritual Pot. Open Item Crafting outside combat, prepare Alluring Pot and assign it to a quick-item slot or pouch.
Notes
- Creates a pale decoy that draws eligible humanoid enemies who are not already fighting. It is a distraction rather than a damage buff or a way to recruit them permanently.
- Demi-humans are an exception and can be distracted even during combat. Ordinary soldiers already attacking you do not reliably abandon the fight for it.
- The decoy remains for about four seconds. Use the brief opening to pass, reposition or separate enemies rather than expecting a long-lasting companion.
- Costs 11 FP per normal use and uses a Ritual Pot. It has no attribute scaling, and pot-damage equipment does not make the lure work on immune enemy types.
- Beastlure Pot is a different red decoy for eligible beasts. A humanoid lure is not automatically effective against every animal or boss.
- The recipe is in Volcano Manor's hidden snail corridor. Joining the manor opens that access; assassination contracts and defeating Rykard are unnecessary for this book.
- One craft uses 1 Albinauric Bloodclot and 5 Human Bone Shard and an empty Ritual Pot. Throwing returns the container, while another mixture needs fresh ingredients.
- Recipes using the same container type share the empty supply. Cracked Pots, Ritual Pots and Hefty Cracked Pots cannot replace one another.
