Starting Site of Grace: Liurnia Highway North

From Liurnia Highway North, follow the rising ground northwest to Highway Lookout Tower. A sorcerer on the roof fires down while spirit nobles appear near the approach.
Use the rocks for cover, enter the tower and climb its ladders to the top. The interior chest is a separate cookbook pickup.
Deal with the sorcerer and loot the corpse on the highest platform for Carian Glintblade Staff. You do not need to clear Raya Lucaria to reach it.

Needs 6 Strength, 12 Dexterity and 22 Intelligence. Its Sorcery Scaling comes from Intelligence; Strength and Dexterity do not improve its spell damage.
Raises eligible glintblade sorcery damage by 15%. This includes Magic Glintblade, Glintblade Trio, Glintblade Phalanx, Carian Phalanx, Greatblade Phalanx and the Carian Retaliation sorcery.
The bonus works while the staff is held in an active hand, even when another staff casts the spell. Two held copies multiply to a 32.25% bonus; a spare in an inactive equipment slot does nothing.
Carian Slicer, Carian Greatsword, Carian Piercer and Adula's Moonblade belong to the separate sword-sorcery group. They do not receive this glintblade bonus.
Magic Downpour also falls outside the boosted group in the current data. A spell's association with Caria does not automatically qualify it.
This bonus does not apply to the Glintblade Phalanx Ash of War or other weapon skills. The Carian Retaliation sorcery and the shield skill are separate actions.
Upgrade it with Smithing Stones to +25. It starts with No Skill and can use the compatible Spinning Weapon Ash of War; grease and weapon enchantments cannot be applied to it.
