Starting Site of Grace: Study Hall Entrance

Follow eastern Liurnia's raised ground south from the Artist's Shack toward the large round building north of Jarburg. Enter Carian Study Hall and activate Study Hall Entrance grace inside.
Leave the entrance altar unchanged. If you already placed Carian Inverted Statue, remove it to restore the upright library.
Take the lift beyond the entrance and climb the stairs. Miriam appears among spectral nobles and uses long-range Magic arrows; clear the closer enemies while using the shelves and walls for cover.
Follow the walkway across the hall and climb the next stairs as Miriam teleports away. Look for the small raised altar section before the second lift.
Loot the corpse there for Carian Glintstone Staff. The second lift continues to Miriam's upper balcony, but you already have the staff once the pickup appears in your inventory.

Requires 6 Strength, 8 Dexterity and 24 Intelligence, and weighs 3. Its Sorcery Scaling comes from Intelligence; the Strength scaling on its ordinary staff strikes does not improve spell damage.
Raises Carian sword sorcery damage by 15%. Carian Slicer, Carian Greatsword, Carian Piercer and Adula's Moonblade qualify.
Adula's Moonblade belongs to both the sword and cold sorcery groups. This staff boosts its damage, but does not increase its Frostbite buildup.
The bonus works while this staff is active in either hand, including when another staff casts the spell. Keeping it in an inactive equipment slot does nothing. Two active copies multiply to a 32.25% bonus.
Magic Glintblade, Glintblade Trio and the Phalanx sorceries use the separate Carian Glintblade Staff bonus. Loretta's Greatbow and Magic Downpour do not gain this sword-sorcery bonus either.
It does not boost ordinary sword swings, Carian weapon skills or every spell with Carian in its name. Match it to the actual sorcery you intend to cast.
Upgrade it with Smithing Stones to +25. It starts with No Skill and can use the compatible Spinning Weapon Ash of War. Grease and weapon enchantments cannot be applied to the staff.
The pickup is in the upright Study Hall before the second lift. You do not need Ranni's statue or to finish Miriam's final encounter to collect it.
