About this item
Marks a target for about 60 seconds so summoned spirits prioritize and attack it more aggressively. Affected spirits can show glowing red eyes.
Costs no FP. The effect changes targeting and aggression, rather than directly granting every spirit a fixed percentage damage bonus.
You need an active Spirit Ash summon that can see or reach the target. The pot does not create a summon, reopen a disabled summoning area or replace a spirit that has died.

Where to find
Crafting after obtaining Nomadic Warrior's Cookbook [12]
Liurnia of the Lakes
Starting Site of Grace: Folly on the Lake
Before you go
- Crafting Kit
- Nomadic Warrior's Cookbook [12]
- Empty Ritual Pot
- Ingredients for one pot: 2 Mushroom, 1 Beast Blood and 1 Bloodrose
- From the central lake, head southwest toward the small island with Rose Church.
- Enter the ruined church and watch for the blood-wielding enemy inside.
- Loot the corpse for the cookbook. Varre's quest dialogue is separate from collecting it.
- Buy the Crafting Kit from Kale at Church of Elleh for 300 runes if Item Crafting is unavailable. Keep the cookbook; it remains usable after learning its recipes.
- Collect the listed ingredients and keep an empty Ritual Pot. Open Item Crafting outside combat, prepare Cursed-Blood Pot and assign it to a quick-item slot or pouch.
Notes
- Marks a target for about 60 seconds so summoned spirits prioritize and attack it more aggressively. Affected spirits can show glowing red eyes.
- Costs no FP. The effect changes targeting and aggression, rather than directly granting every spirit a fixed percentage damage bonus.
- You need an active Spirit Ash summon that can see or reach the target. The pot does not create a summon, reopen a disabled summoning area or replace a spirit that has died.
- It can help with spirits that otherwise remain near their initial position or choose a different enemy. It still does not let you select each individual attack they perform.
- Despite its name, it does not apply Blood Loss or Scarlet Rot. Raising Arcane or wearing a pot-damage talisman does not turn the mark into those statuses.
- The Rose Church cookbook is a separate corpse pickup from Varre's quest. You do not need to invade another player to learn this recipe.
- One craft uses 2 Mushroom, 1 Beast Blood and 1 Bloodrose and an empty Ritual Pot. Throwing returns the container, while another mixture needs fresh ingredients.
- Recipes using the same container type share the empty supply. Cracked Pots, Ritual Pots and Hefty Cracked Pots cannot replace one another.
