Finger Seal

Notes

• A general-purpose Faith-scaling seal with no additional bonus restricted to one incantation school. Confessor and Prophet start with it, and other classes can buy one.
• The Strength shown on the weapon concerns its melee attack, not a second casting stat. Faith is what increases its ordinary incantation scaling.
• At +25, it has 286 incantation scaling at 60 Faith and 324 at 80 Faith. It is ahead of Erdtree Seal at 60 Faith, but Erdtree Seal overtakes it by 80 Faith. Godslayer's Seal is also slightly ahead of Finger Seal at both of those stat values.
• It has No Skill and cannot use Ashes of War. Upgrade it with Smithing Stones, up to +25.
• Requires 4 Strength and 10 Faith and weighs 1.5. The starting-class copies and the shop copy have the same scaling; Prophet does not get a stronger version than Confessor.
• Memorize incantations at a grace, equip the seal in either hand and use that hand's attack input to cast the selected spell. It casts incantations, rather than ordinary sorceries.
• Its Faith-only casting contribution makes it straightforward for direct healing and weapon enchantments as well as damage. Fixed-strength effects such as Golden Vow or Bestial Vitality do not improve simply because you upgrade the seal.
• It has no hidden Two Fingers spell-school bonus. Holding a second Finger Seal does not multiply spell damage the way two matching school-boosting seals can.
• You can cast with Finger Seal while holding a school-boosting seal in the other hand. That adds the other seal's eligible passive, rather than combining both displayed Incantation Scaling values.
