Notes

• Increases damage from supported black flame incantations by 10%, including Black Flame, Scouring Black Flame and Black Flame Ritual.
• Black Flame Blade and Noble Presence do not receive this bonus. A related name, visual effect or lore connection does not establish that a spell is part of the boosted damage group.
• The bonus concerns the damaging spell, not a universal 10% increase to every percentage-based health effect or every weapon coated in black flame.
• Its incantation scaling uses Faith. It has No Skill and uses Smithing Stones, up to +25.
• The seal and Godskin Prayerbook are separate pickups in the same sealed Stormveil cellar. Giving the book to a teacher unlocks spells to buy; equipping the seal alone does not teach them.
• Requires 4 Strength and 27 Faith and weighs 1.5. Faith is its casting attribute; Strength contributes to a seal punch rather than ordinary incantation scaling.
• The 10% passive works while held in the other hand, even if a different seal performs the cast. Two held copies multiply to a 21% bonus for the eligible direct spell damage.
• The supported damaging spells are Black Flame, Scouring Black Flame and Black Flame Ritual. Black Flame's Protection does not gain extra damage negation, and Black Flame Blade does not gain a stronger weapon coating from this passive.
• The fixed percentage-based health drain is separate from the boosted direct hit. Reinforcing the seal or stacking the school bonus does not turn that drain into a larger percentage of a boss's HP.
• It has strong general Faith casting as well as its school bonus. At high Faith, an Erdtree Seal in the casting hand and Godslayer's Seal in the other is an alternative to casting directly with this seal.
• One held copy gives the same school bonus at +0 as at +25. Upgrade the copy you cast with to improve casting scaling, rather than spending stones only to strengthen its offhand passive.
