A cocktail of effluents is sealed inside.

Throw at enemies to set a large swarm of bloodflies upon them. The vile swarm deals damage and greatly builds up onset of blood loss. The cacophony of their wings assails the sanity of berserkers.

The maggots found in waste feed on blood and turn into vicious flies that are pitiably short-lived.

1. From Greatbridge, North, head north to Abandoned Ailing Village.
2. Search the northwestern corner of the settlement at the foot of the cliffs.
3. Enter the ruined house and loot the corpse for the cookbook.
4. Buy the Crafting Kit from Kale at Church of Elleh for 300 runes if Item Crafting is unavailable. Keep the cookbook; it remains usable after learning its recipes.
5. Collect the listed ingredients and keep an empty Hefty Cracked Pot. Open Item Crafting outside combat, prepare Hefty Fly Pot and assign it to a quick-item slot or pouch.

Notes

• Releases a larger bloodfly swarm whose active flight lasts longer than the small-pot version. Its relevant hits still use 70 base Blood Loss buildup before Arcane scaling, rather than simply doubling the buildup of each fly.
• The larger swarm can produce more opportunities for buildup when the target stays nearby. It does not guarantee that every hit connects or that one throw bleeds every boss.
• Costs no FP and uses a Hefty Cracked Pot. Its Fly Mold and Sanguine Amaryllis ingredients are different from Swarm Pot's Mushroom and Blood-Tainted Excrement.
• Arcane improves the buildup. A sacred seal, Faith investment and equipment boosting your own blood incantations are separate from this thrown item.
• Blood Loss immunity prevents the bleed burst, even if the small direct physical hits still connect. Choose a different damage plan against an immune target.
• One craft uses 2 Fly Mold and 2 Sanguine Amaryllis and an empty Hefty Cracked Pot. Throwing returns the container, while another mixture needs fresh ingredients.
• Recipes using the same container type share the empty supply. Cracked Pots, Ritual Pots and Hefty Cracked Pots cannot replace one another.
