About this item
Deals physical Strike damage, strongly favoring Strength with much weaker Dexterity scaling. It is not Magic damage just because some gravity spells also throw rocks.
Costs no FP. The heavy impact is useful against a target vulnerable to Strike damage, without equipping a hammer or memorizing a spell.
Its impact has substantial stance pressure for a thrown pot. A stance break still depends on the enemy, its remaining stance and whether previous pressure has had time to recover.

Where to find
Crafting after obtaining Greater Potentate's Cookbook [12]
Gravesite Plain
Starting Site of Grace: Ellac River Cave
Before you go
- Crafting Kit
- Greater Potentate's Cookbook [12]
- Empty Hefty Cracked Pot
- Ingredients for one pot: 3 Roundrock
- From Castle Front, ride southeast to the road fork and take the downhill route through the camp.
- At the next fork, go left toward the poison pools. Near the large Miranda flower, follow the lower slope toward the crab and cave entrance.
- Pass the flowers and enter Ellac River Cave. Activate the grace, then follow the shallow river south to the first waterfall.
- Use Torrent to jump between the stone pillars below the waterfall. Check each landing before jumping; the cookbook corpse is on one of these pillars, just beyond the first fall.
- Loot the body before continuing farther downstream. Do not leap straight from the waterfall to the distant riverbed.
- If Item Crafting is unavailable, buy the Crafting Kit from Kale at Church of Elleh for 300 runes. A cookbook supplies recipes, rather than replacing the kit.
- Collect the listed ingredients and keep an empty Hefty Cracked Pot. Outside combat, open Item Crafting and select Hefty Rock Pot.
- Equip the prepared pot in a quick-item slot or pouch so you can use it during a fight. Another craft needs fresh ingredients after the first has been thrown.
Notes
- Deals physical Strike damage, strongly favoring Strength with much weaker Dexterity scaling. It is not Magic damage just because some gravity spells also throw rocks.
- Costs no FP. The heavy impact is useful against a target vulnerable to Strike damage, without equipping a hammer or memorizing a spell.
- Its impact has substantial stance pressure for a thrown pot. A stance break still depends on the enemy, its remaining stance and whether previous pressure has had time to recover.
- Each craft spends three Roundrocks. Throwing one Roundrock directly is a different consumable attack and does not occupy the same prepared pot.
- The cookbook sits on the lower Ellac River waterfall route. Take the stepped rock landings rather than trying to drop directly from the upper river to the valley floor.
- One craft uses 3 Roundrock. It occupies one empty Hefty Cracked Pot; throwing it frees that container for another recipe, while the ingredients are spent.
- Against enemies, Companion Jar increases this Hefty Pot's damage by 10%, while Greatjar headgear adds 17%. Together they give 28.7% more damage before other effects. Ordinary Jar headgear does not provide its small-pot bonus to Hefty Pots.
- Shard of Alexander and Godfrey Icon do not boost it as a weapon skill or charged spell. It is a thrown consumable with its own scaling, not an attack from your equipped weapon.
- Recipes using the same container type share the available empty containers. A Cracked Pot, Ritual Pot and Hefty Cracked Pot are different types and cannot substitute for one another.
