Starting Site of Grace: Temple Town Ruins

Before you go

  • To enter the Realm of Shadow, defeat Starscourge Radahn and Mohg, Lord of Blood, then touch the withered arm in Mohg's arena at Mohgwyn Palace.
  • Collect The Sacred Tower painting.
  • Defeat Messmer and Romina, then burn the Sealing Tree to reveal Enir-Ilim.
  1. From the opening Gravesite Plain grace, ride north past the spiritgraves to Scorched Ruins and activate its grace.
  2. Head east and northeast toward the cliff face, directly east of the wandering Furnace Golem. Look for the shallow cave at the foot of the rock, south of the Backhand Blade area.
  3. Enter the cave and examine The Sacred Tower on its easel. The Furnace Golem does not need to be defeated, and this is an open cave rather than a boss dungeon.
  4. After revealing Enir-Ilim, travel to the map monument east of Temple Town Ruins in Rauh Base. Find the sealed spiritspring against the cliff to the east.
  5. Follow the path south-southwest and destroy its sealing rock beside the broken wall. Return to the spring and use Torrent to jump up, then use the second spring to reach Northern Nameless Mausoleum's plateau.
  6. Follow the plateau's western edge south toward the slope and the two projecting rocks facing Enir-Ilim. Approach the painter's spirit, wait for it to disappear and collect the seal it leaves behind.

Notes

  • Requires 8 Strength and 17 Faith and weighs 1.5. Its incantation scaling uses Faith; the Strength contribution shown on the weapon applies to its melee attack.
  • Increases damage from Spira, Golden Arcs and Giant Golden Arc by 20%. Divine Bird Feathers, Divine Beast Tornado and Watchful Spirit are not covered.
  • The passive works while held in the other hand when another seal casts the spell. Two held copies multiply to a 44% damage bonus for those three incantations.
  • Its modest general casting scaling makes the held passive especially useful beside a stronger casting seal. You do not combine both seals' displayed scaling values.
  • The 20% passive stays the same at +0 and +25. Reinforce the copy used for casting to improve its scaling, rather than expecting a larger school bonus.
  • The painter appears only after Messmer's Kindling has burned the Sealing Tree beyond Romina and Enir-Ilim is revealed. Collect the painting first; arriving at the correct viewpoint early is not enough.
  • It has No Skill, cannot use Ashes of War and upgrades with Smithing Stones to +25. It does not cast sorceries simply because Spira's description calls the underlying tradition sorcery.
