Its passive effect increases incoming physical and elemental hit damage by 10%. The helmet's own armor and your other defenses are separate, so the benefit comes with a real defensive penalty.
Can be combined with Carian Filigreed Crest. Their discounts multiply to 36.25% before whole-number FP rounding, rather than adding to a 40% reduction.

Starting Site of Grace: Limgrave Tower Bridge
Before you go
- Defeat Margit to enter Stormveil.
- Reach Stormveil's main gate after defeating Margit. The direct route is to ask Gostoc in the side room to open the gate, then pass through the defended entrance toward the castle's eastern tower-bridge building. Ballistae cover this approach, so keep moving and use the walls as cover.
- Go through the large entrance beside the blade-wielding lion. It cannot follow you inside. Activate Limgrave Tower Bridge grace on the other side.
- Climb the stairs and cross the bridge past its three golems. Use the pillars against the rear golem's greatbow shots, or keep moving past the enemies instead of fighting all three.
- At the sending gate near the broken end, stop before teleporting. Look beyond it for the lower broken bridge sections and descend the safe ledges in stages.
- Loot the corpse on the left for Ash-of-War Scarab. The pickup on the other side is Soft Cotton. You can return to the bridge grace afterward; defeating Godrick or restoring his rune is unnecessary.

- The discount can apply to separately paid follow-up inputs too. It does not increase skill damage, reduce stamina use or give a benefit to a skill that already costs no FP.
- Weighs 5.1 and provides six poise. It cannot be altered, and its effect needs no matching armor pieces.
- The helmet is a fixed corpse pickup below the bridge sending gate. Killing ordinary Teardrop Scarabs does not farm copies of this headpiece.
