About this armor
Weighs 5.1 and provides 7 poise. It has no Faith, Holy-damage or incantation bonus.
The dagger story gives the regular helm, chest, gauntlets and greaves together from D's body in the newly opened room beyond Hewg. It does not require attacking D yourself.
You can give the complete regular outfit to D's twin sitting outside the Valiant Gargoyles arena in Siofra Aqueduct. This removes the armor from your inventory until you reclaim it after his final scene at Prince of Death's Throne.
In-game description
Helm depicting entwined twins of gold and silver.
The two known as D are inseparable twins.
They are of two bodies and two minds, but one single soul. Not once do they stand together; not one word do they speak to one another.
Perhaps this armor longs to find its way to the other D.
Where to find
Room beyond Hewg after Fia's dagger request
Roundtable Hold
Starting Site of Grace: Table of Lost Grace
Before you go
- Progress Fia's dialogue until she gives you the Weathered Dagger.
- Meet D and Fia at Roundtable Hold. After reaching Altus Plateau, let Fia hold you and ask to speak in secret until she gives you the Weathered Dagger.
- Take the dagger to D and choose the dialogue option to give it to him.
- Reload Roundtable Hold and check the newly opened room at the far end of the passage beyond Hewg.
- Loot D's body for Twinned Helm, Armor, Gauntlets and Greaves together, plus his bell bearing. Finish Fia's dialogue here before leaving if you are continuing her story.
Notes
- Weighs 5.1 and provides 7 poise. It has no Faith, Holy-damage or incantation bonus.

- This piece cannot be altered. Only the matching chest has a tailored version. If that chest is altered, restore it before giving the whole outfit to D's twin.
- Wearing the armor does not cause the HP penalty from Fia's embrace. That penalty belongs to carrying the ordinary Baldachin's Blessing; use the blessing and let its effect expire to clear it.
- The twin's handover is optional for obtaining Fia's ending rune. His later reward scene allows you to reclaim the armor alongside Inseparable Sword; it is not a second random armor farm.
