About this armor
Raises Faith by one while worn. The robe is not required for this bonus, and removing the mask removes that extra point.
Weighs 2.2 and provides three poise. It can fill a one-point Faith requirement without changing your other armor, although you give up the protection or effect of another helmet.
This is an ordinary Faith increase, rather than a separate multiplier to incantation damage. It has no Intelligence or Arcane bonus and cannot be reinforced.

In-game description
Mask in the image of a wizened sage.
Customary dress among lords in a smaller nation.
Increases faith.
Such a mask illustrates the qualities of an ideal lord: chiefly, wise and possessing a certain defanged geniality.
One at the center of society often finds these qualities most expedient.
Where to find
Caravan northeast of Abandoned Coffin
Altus Plateau
Starting Site of Grace: Abandoned Coffin
- Reach western Altus Plateau. The Ruin-Strewn Precipice route brings you here after Magma Wyrm Makar: take the lift beyond his arena and activate Abandoned Coffin grace outside.
- From Abandoned Coffin, follow the dirt path uphill toward the east and northeast, through the overturned carriages. Watch for the Omens around the wreckage.
- Find the corpse hanging over the back of a carriage beside the path. Loot it for both Ruler's Mask and Ruler's Robe. The pickup is on the carriage, rather than inside a chest.
